Yes, that was Frankfurt '76 - I witnessed that from very close to the stage.
while it is quite possible that he slipped on a saussage - it was quite clear for me that it was also drugs-related. he looked soooo stoned and couldn't get up, I remember being very worried about him. he never stopped playing tho'.

Yeah, that was frankfurt 76 he's alway been talking about.

But in fact it happened at least 2-3 times on 76 tour alone! And mostly because of drugs! I forgot the exact dates but remember two German gigs where he kept playin sitting on his butt!

These are stories nothing else. I bet he fell a lot on his arse between mid -68 and early 1980. But he is the man. And he was the man in those days.
