A little hard to name a band where a member is dead, ie CCR Zep. For me it's Be Bop Deluxe, Rockpile or Costello with all The Attractions.

I believe the Kinks are one of the few bands that can boast an original Line Up intact from the 60s. That would be amazing to see, but even a 70s kinks line-up would be cool, considering that line up lasted for a long time (late 60's to about late 70's).

The Rolling Stones for a new album with MT and BW.

The Faces, just to get rid of RW after over 30 years playing in the wrong band.

Too bad that RW never realised this in 30 years. Good solution though... he can also switch to bass of course.

Summer 2009 would be a good time for them to do a "Stones in the Park" reunion concert with MT and BW sitting in on a couple of trademark songs, 40th anniversary of Hyde Park.

The Allman Brothers w/ Dickey Betts (with all due respect to Derek Trucks)[/quote]

Derek Trucks did not replace Dickey. Warren Haynes did. Derek replaced Jack Pearson who had replaced Warren when Haynes left to form Gov't. Mule. I saw the band twice with Derek and Dickey. It was as close to the original lineup as they ever got, with Derek in Duane's position on stage. The show at the Memphis Blues Festival was the best I'd ever seen them by far. Dickey and Derek played harmony throughout the show not just in rehearsed spots. A month later they fired Dickey and brought Warren back in his place. It is not the ABB without Dickey.

Paul Brady/andy Irvine ( they did do a one off in glasgow last month)
Brinsley Schwarz
Moving Hearts (with Christy) just a one off tour would do.
Juice On The Loose ( The R.Kavana band Ed Deane and Gearaint Watkins line up)
The Nips ( if only Shane MaGowan could move like he could then)
The Zombies ( oh i'm going to see them tomorrow smiling smiley

Roxy Music has been working on a new album.

If all parties were into it a Talking Heads reunion could be cool.

All in all I think it's safe to say that there has been more than enough reunitings, and way too few disbandings.

Depends on how ya define it, huh?
When they go together & play again after ABB Tour, they actually re-unite, dont they?

Oh, how silly of me to actually assume that the original post was NOT referring to bands who's been on the road in the past few years. In that case I wish Oasis would reunite since their latest world tour was in 2006.
