they sell posters like that for any band you can imagine. ameoba records in berkeley sell them for $10. they're everywhere.

however, before they were everywhere, i saw one for the grateful dead at an antique store in canada. i bought it for 3x it's value, thinking it was an original.

this poster is of great historical importance, but obviously nobody understands!!! it is proof that Ron Wood already played a gig with Stones as early as in 1965!

I already contaced Brian Jones fanclub to inform them about this finding, cause this is an evidence that Stones already in 1965 were betraying Brian, playing a show with replacement guitar player behind his back. it obviously did not work out as hoped by them with young Ronnie, so they kept Brian. but this ads fuel to investigations about Brians murder in 1969 because its easy to guess that if they already betrayed Brian in 1965, a lot more must have happened between 1965 and 1969, leading to Brians death!!!

perhaps the most dead obvious give away (ouside of Ronnie) is Charlie's hair -- he only had a buzz cut like that in 75 (and 76 too I think).

This kind of crap is all over eBay -- there is one that says the Stones and the Doobie Bros at the Cow Palace in San Fran in 1976 - they were in Europe in 76.

I used to send e mails to the sellers of these lying posters and argue with them until I saw that there are SOOOO many of them, it was pointless.

I had an argument with a dealer at some flea market that this posters were bogus. It was the same photo as this 1965 pic lol, and it advertised the stones with the Doobie Brothers at the Cow Palace, San Fransisco in 1976. First off, they didnt tour the states in 1976, and the pic used is a promotional photo from Emotional Rescue which came out in 1980. The bottom line is if you do not generally know your stones history, it is very easy to pick up wrong stuff. The 1965 photo with Woodie is just classic, but some moron will buy it.

Allright on the Night has a nice idea though we might risk to be asked whether we are Blackmore's Night fans, don't we?

Even if he was with the band back then, vintage posters generally do not have the year on them. Posters were made a month or weeks before a show happened, no need to put the year. Homemade poster creaters overlook that fact.
