Sohoe
<<Mr Brown is a clown who rides to town in a coffin>>

I think story something behind this song goes a bit like this; a duppy was said to speeding thru Jamaica on a three-wheeled coffin with buzzards perching on top, and one of them was asking for a Mr Brown.

In fact, a crowd were searching for the duppy right in front of the Upsetter record shop in Kingston, when Glen Adams came by and instantly wrote the lyrics.

explanation of the word 'duppy': [www.nlj.org.jm]

Many thanks for Duppy, Sohoe. It sure is worth a thread of its own.
