I was at that Sweet concert at the Marquee (late 80's i think?). My friend nearly ruined the video shoot, he swung on the camera, it was one of those old typical tv studios cameras and nearly crashed it to the ground, it took a half hour of negotiating that the security didnt throw us out
Nice, Baboon, but I must say this performance is just a shadow of what can be heard on the official live album "Field Commander Cohen" - also from 1979. Leonard varies a lot from performance to performance.... Watched a pro-footage Warzow 1985 DVD last week, and I must say it's the best video of Cohen, IMO....he has a lot of material that's dying for official release.
Thinking about the mid 80s, Bro? Yeah, that's correct. "Various Positions" and it's following tour is absolutely excellent. "I'm Your Man" has great lyrics and vocals - but the music seems a bit dated though
