Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!

Thats the one...Kenneth Williams' line (playing Julius Caesar) in "Carry On Caesar".

Quite evident what inspired Keith.

Hey, I got it a full 35 minutes before Deltics!!!

I got the full quote first!

"As we say in England, it can get a bit trainspottery"

Hmm, is it me or is the font color option not working? Ah, well.

And, does everyone have a "0" next to their names? Okay, without
you I'm nothing, I know. winking smiley

Yeah,an O kind of shaped like an egg. What is up with that. Plus now your screen name is in bold letters when you post. It looks like I'm yelling at myself.

"It's just some friends of mine and they're busting down the door"

I believe it's a pair of parentheses:
"(" and " ) "
. Next to each other, they look like "()". I think there's a thread about it not long ago. (BTW, did you ever notice that if you want to type a parenthesis next to a quotation mark, colon, etc... it becomes a smiley when you post it?)

It used to contain "(ip logged)" or something like that.

I'm thinking that participation is down on this board because of that.
Most people don't follow EVERY thread, so it is bothersome to keep searching every page for the threads you want to see.
