Chalk Farm Roundhouse London 1970 (or 71)

LA Forum, July 11, 1975. Don't recall much of the show, my mind a little foggy, only the excitement and the feeling tha anything could happen. Parents never knew I was there.

I have more clearer memories about Anaheim '78. I was 19 yo then.

My first concert: 3. September 1973 Mannheim - Germany , Eisstadion

Schüttorf August 12, 1995... of all places.

Hartford 1981...

I'm still pissed nobody took me to prior Stones tours/shows...don't have an older brother or sister and my aunts and uncles didn't take me (bastards) as the Stones are truly their generation and they saw them in the 60's and 70's.

My son is 8 and I took him to see the Stones when he was 5 and also at age 6.
I also took him to see The Who and Steve Miller band.
Hopefully he'll appreciate it more when he's 25 or 30.

My daughter is 2 and loves music...hopefully I can take her to a Stones show.
I took her to see Three Dog Night a few months ago...had front row seats and the band members would smile as they panned the audience and saw her. She just sat there, listened and clapped along with the audience,
Her first concert and front row! Now she's spoiled.

Voodoo rythms / Not Fade Away, flames from the cobra, the greatest concert intro.

i love that photo - they knew how to doll up the building - especially the "tour of europe" photo/logo hanging over the windows in the middle.

No, I was born in 1962 (the best year in history isn't it!?). I was 19 then in Prater Stadium, Viena.

BTW I visited your country for the first time back in 82, 1962..
(As well as Vienna, Split, Zagreb for the first time & many
other places like Barca, Florens, Venedig/Venize/Venice)..
Got to see Miskolc, Tokaj, Eger, Mezökövesd, the Bükk Mts., etc

Maybe you can confirm whether CYHMK was played (if it was in 1971)?

My first show was Valle Hovin, Oslo 1990, 1st show.

This was my 2nd show. Great support: George Thorogood and J.Geils. Rained all day however. I remember meeting a guy from Sunderland who'd have been in his mid-40's then (much about the age I am now) proclaiming 'this would definitely be the LAST tour!'.

i forgot to add a smiley ;-) was really by accident.
i wish i had been there, but i was actualy aged minus 10 ;-)
so i was just daydreaming....

but the mother of my roommate was really there! she 18 and lived in london by that time.
but she cant remember that well, unfortunately...she just looked at it as a gig of an unknown newcomer band. some times later she realised what she had witnessed that night....

I think this is just a ruse to find out how old we are. Ok so mine was Auckland '73 .Stinking hot summers day and the tickets were $4.95 and I was 3 rows from the front (eventually)
