i don't know if anyone has any info on this...
but april wine is a big canandian rock and roll band. some great music...
they have a tune called 'i like to rock'
and i am quite positive that the song ends with satisfaction by the stones, mixed with day tripper by teh beatles.
the video i found on youtuve has pretty brutal sound, but i think you can hear it. fast forward to around 4:00 in.
what do you think?

Yup, sounds like Day Tripper over the Satisfaction riff. Two great old riffs on top of eachother. Kinda clever.

they did open for the stones at the elmo and the helped out the stones 1972 show in montreal when a bomb went under their truck with speakers and all the cones were blown.

they opened for the stone on july 4 1978 at rich statium in buffalo

Montreal radio station CHOM-FM used to play the living bejeezus out of this song by April Wine back in the late 70s, I used to love the Satisfaction/Day Tripper riff medley at the end...

april wines' drummer jerry mercer is one of the best.

kinda reminds me of starz (anyone remember them?) or a harder rocking badfinger...what with all the cool 3 part harmonies over really crunching gits...REALLY crunching...yeh david700 i was impressed with that drummer too.
