I think the VGP is the best available although Sister Morphine attempted to remaster it last year but I honestly dont think they improved it any.

"Hold On Tight" is the best CD-bootleg, yes.
But there is one speed corrected vinyl transfer on CDR which is quite a lot better; I hear - allthough I do not have it, would love to hear it though

The vinyl source is excellent, one of the best 70s audience recordings I´ve ever heard. It´s missing a few songs though. Give me one or two days and I´ll torrent it.

Tommy, is this your review?

You write that the July 10 version of Heartbreaker is "fantastic", and I couldn't agree more. And IYCRM-GOOMC from July 13 is also among their very best moments, I think. Since you know this so well, it would be interesting to know your favourites from 1975?

Tjena Hans,
Yeah thats´me
My favourites are.

CUT THE CRAP…, C2C 19, Fort Collins 7/19/75
HEARTBREAKERS IN BUFFALO, VGP-028 , Buffalo 6/15/75
HOLD ON TIGHT, VGP-255, NEW YORK 6/27/75
LUXURY IN TORONTO, VGP-267
THE COMPLETE LA FRIDAY TAPES, Dandelion DL 036/039
The Rolling Stones - Alive In Seattle
Dogs And Cats 062.

The best performance was in Seattle.
And the best recording LA July 13

Does anyone know if there is any difference in the sound quality between these 2 labels versions of the 7/13/75 LA Forum show?

ROLLING STONES 2CD "WHO WENT TO CHURCH THIS SUNDAY" - July 13, 1975 VGP-082-1/2

Rolling Stones, The - "Rockin' At The Forum 1975 Last Night" (2CD) July 13, 1975. SODD-036/37

What’s the situation nowadays? What do you think are the best boots from the -75 at the moment?
I just bought ”Stereo Baby” (MSG Jun 27) since I was told it sounds great. But to my ears it’s not THAT great soundwise. Are there better ones? How’s the Tour Of Americas box set?

Wow so many good shows mentioned. My introduction to the 75 tour were the Cow Palace, San Francisco shows. Love the sound and atmosphere on those audience recordings

I like Toronto & Buffalo. Alive in Seattle is good but not clear enough.

Wow, this thread is so old that there was no official L.A. FRIDAY not released yet. Yeah, the Sunday 13 July gig was a pretty definitive Stones concert.
