Hey Lukester. While Cindy's invitation seems tempting,I mean I can personally vouch for Boston being a fun town.I'm not sure you want to go in the middle of winter. You'll freeze your jingle bells off.

Finally, the bongster and I have something in common besides liking "Indian Girl.".........now go volunteer!!!
Update - actually after my DWI this last summer - champagne is out, probably egg nog for this NY Eve. . . .what a drag. .08 is indeed a joke you all, but of course, don't drink and drive is the best advice, stay home and indulge - chances of getting laid are probably better too. Happy New Year all.
Sober in Minnesota - at least in 2008, we'll see about 2009??
If you are in the NYC area, why not come to the Lakeside Lounge on Ave. B to see the Mike Hunt Band? If you have never seen them, you are missing something really, really fun. The band comes on at 11 pm and quite a few Stones fanatics will be there.
With all the firweworks going off in my neighbourhood right now, you'd think it was New Year's Eve already!
On the actual NYE I'll have some nice red wine - perhaps a little champagne around midnight - and leave the serious drinking to the amateurs. Hell, we have the rest of the year!!
Well the only people who want to know you really are those who can make money out of you.So what I'm doing is driving the company car (fuel paid for) down to the beach with some left over beers I got from the fridge at the office.

i am in a jogging club and have been for maybe 10 years. so i might be running 10 km if the weather is good enough,( they are forecasting very bad weather , wet & windy.) there is always this oldyearsday -run at 2 oclock, (participation maybe 1000 or somethn for reykjavik as a whole) then a party straight afterwards at my jogging club foremans house , then you come home at 6 and are pissed, and have a nap and try to recover for the new years celebrations, me & my wife have been invited to our daughtes fiances parents home for the 12 oclock celebrations they live in the neighbourhood. lets hope they have some serionus rock music there ie stones ! such thngs can either make or brake a good night as we know !
