All the Way Down

Used to know the answer to this but have since forgotten. What's the quick lyric in "All the Way Down" before the song actually begins?

Don't hear it from the beginning, just drop us in...

is it "don't hear it"? or "don't amp it" or something like that?
anyway it's Ronnie, and it's not exactly a lyric - a request to the sound engineer, more like

I always thought it's "don't run from the beginning, just prop us in". I am sure it's Keith through the studio's talk back mike though.

Just listened with the sound WAY UP. I came up with "...don't amp it again, just drop us in". Couldn't really tell if it was Keith or Ronnie.

For what it's worth (from the songbook "The Rolling Stones guitar anthology")
"Don't hear it from the beginning; just drop it in"
According to the songbook, it's the producer Chris Kimsey.

I think Eric Snow has it right...
It's Ronnie Wood...and Ronnie is directing the engineer to get straight to the part of the song where he has to overdub or correct a guitar part.

I don't think Wood ever was in the position to direct any recording session, and in a '83 Guitar Magazine interview with Richards he clarifies that it is him through the intercom.

I think that's the correct version; as far as I know, Kimsey is suggesting Keith not to try to put an intro before the beat comes in.
