Well,the wildest college football regular season in recent memory is history. Now on to the season. After the 1-2 teams lost in their last games,we are left with the usual suspects in the national championship game LSU vs Ohio St. Other games of interest,the Rose Bowl goes traditional,taking Illnois to get beat by (er play) USC and Hawaii to get killed by(er play) Elmo's beloved Georgia Bulldogs. How LSU jumps from #7 to #2 ahead of Georgia I'm not sure. The national championship is to be played Jan.7th in New Orleans. Almost a home game for the Tigers. Looks like deja vu all over again. Ohio St. loses to an SEC team for the second straight year. Those are the SCL D.W.I.P.(dead wrong in public) bowl predictions. As crazy as this year has been,anything is possible.

Uh,no I think I'll sit in my living room and root for LSU. But I wonder if Elmo's coming to root on his Dawgs in the Sugar Bowl?

Most Georgia fans aren't really upset - we can't believe the team even made it back this far. 2008 looks to be our year. The BCS is a clusterf*ck if there's ever been one though.

I remember the first time I went to a football game at the Rose Bowl...
It happened to be a Super Bowl (Giants vs. Broncos)

...and as far as teaching to spell in College? I don't remember spell check back then. But let's figure this whole college thing out anyway...I had trouble passing dumbell English, but I ended up graduating with a degree in Journalism with honors...go figure. (I still can't spell worth beens.) After maybe 8 years in that field, I left it to go earn a living. When people ask what I do, I tell them I am a musician, when they ask me what I do FOR A LIVING, I respond by saying "I can tell you, but that does not represent who I am as a person".

Why is Hawaii even in division 1A if they can go undefeated and still not be given a chance to win the championship?

That's what happens when your shedule includes patsy st. week after week. They had to score 14 points in the 4th quarter just to beat Washington. The 9th place team in the Pac 10, in Hawaii. They will lose by 4 touchdowns to Georgia.

Hawaii will most likely lose to the Dawgs, but not by 4 td's. They will surprise alot of people I think. The Fiesta Bowl holds the true championship game, West Va vs Oklahoma.

I hate to say I told you so. But I told you so. As fun and profitable as it was to watch USC and Georgia kick ass. It would be better from a competition standpoint if USC and Georgia would have played each other. With the winner playing the winner of the LSU/Ohio St. game(which will be LSU). You know, a PLAYOFF!!
Anyway,another BCS game tonight. Another likely blowout. Take Oklahoma,give up the 8 1/2. West Virginia's program is in shambles after Rich Rodriguez left his dream job,to go take his other dream job at Michigan.

....yeah, I felt kind of sorry for Hawaii last night.....they got stomped just like all the teams Appalachian State played on their way to a 3rd National Championship in the FCS Division

Hey E...Anybody who's ever watched more than 5 minutes of CFB saw that one coming. Everybody thought Hawaii was gonna be this years Boise St. Turns out Oklahoma just sucks. As evidenced by thier performance so far tonight.
But hey man. Should be a fun time next year in Athens. The Dawgs got a lot of talent coming back and Knowshon Moreno looks like an absolute stud.

The real championship game has already been played...West Virginia kicked around Oklahoma

Yeah that's only because Oklahoma is sadly overated. 4 straight BCS losses. If you lose to Pitt on your home field with a chance to go to the national championship,then you had your chance. LSU has been the best team all year and will prove it Mon. night.

Well one of the craziest college football seasons ever comes to a close tonight. The national championship game between LSU and Ohio St.....Should be a pretty good game. But My prediction is another chmapionship loss for OSU. Although probably not as bad as the beating they took from Florida last year. Take LSU give the 3 1/2......LSU wins by 10-14 points.Go Tigers!

So far,so good. It's all LSU. Maybe the next time Ohio St. makes the championship game they should just let the other team score first. Hasn't worked out too well for them. you did call it here...I won $100 on the game myself, knowing that those tigers would pretty much own those buckeyes. I think W. Va would have given them a better game, tho
