John Hiatt (but wait, doesn't he write blues rock and folk rock?)
Junior Brown
Billy Burnette (but wait, he plays rockabilly)
John Prine
The Flatlanders (Hancock, Gilmore, Ely, Wesson et al.)
The Jayhawks (but wait, are they not soft rock?)
Emmylou Harris (made a few ethereal pop records in the 90s)
Willie Nelson (made a quirky reggae-country crossover album)
Eleni Mandell (but wait, is she not lounge-jazz?)
Blackberry Smoke (but wait, they're southern rock)

I guess I'm more of an Americana listener then.

Hey that's a wise decision of Willie ! Things like this, make it seem so silly that he would get a penalty for "smoking pot". Just this little help to the anti-dogfighting society, should make Willie to do as he please in his own caravan

Merle. Lucinda. Wynona has a great voice but I'd like to advise on her song selection.

Hello Koen!
Just want to clarify that I am well aware that Gram is
no longer with us, in fact, he is buried just a few
miles from where I live.
I suppose my interpretation of the subject line
would be "what artists are you into today" which could include anyone, rather than "alive today."
