I did some sample ticket requests for BG in January...it appears that Fridays and Saturdays are mostly sold out via ticketmaster, however tickets are available for Thursday and Sunday shows.
Maybe those of us who are interested should make some plans...ie submit dates and see if any match up??
who else is coming other than rocks off and myself? i'll probably show up alone so how do i find you? do we need to start posting pics of ourselves on this thread?
i'd love to see buddy guy with you guys. it would be great just to see you, little queenie, and inopeng, and to meet new faces. regretablly, i'm already committed for the evening. i'll be in a recording studio, working on my next project that i'll be taking to london the first week of march. more on that later. thanks for thinking of me. perhaps we can rendevous in the future for some other equally exciting outing. xoxox. daniel
Went to the show last night. Killer! Larry McCray opened and was great. Buddy came on around 10:30 and burned through a ninety minute set with a mix of old and new, including teases of songs from his forthcoming cd. When he was finished, he took a detour to wake up a drunk at the bar ("Hey man, you don't sleep at my bar!") before signing autographs for fans. Sold out as usual. When we left this morning, there was a line at 9:30AM. I'm sorry, but that is too long a haul just to sit. We showed up at 8:30(PM) and had great sight lines right behind the seated area. Enjoy the shows everyone.
yeah, send me a pic. my email is open to the public. do you think we'll get a table at 7pm? i don't really want to stand...maybe i should get there earlier? how many friends are you bringing (ie. how many seats do i save? - oh yeah, saving seats is something they don't condone - there's a sign)! yikes. i need to save one for inopeng.
roryg - a line at 9:30am? that's crazy!! maybe that's for the limited release of tix?
LQ- No ticket drop, esp. for a Friday show.A couple who arrived at 7:40 last night said there were no seats then and, you're right, the Legends crew are pretty snippy about holding seats. It's a good policy, but it makes for a long visit if you want a seat.
