Amos Otis sounds familiar. The Royals come to mind.

I have some 60s Stones bubble gum cards so this is not a new thing from the Stones.

I have some Beatles ones from the 90's. I'll have to go on and check this out - the sheets would look great framed, but I got totally confused reading thru what was what because some of them look like duplicates....

Here is the full set of original 60's gum cards (They are in number order: card 1 top left to card 40 bottom right). They are much, much rarer than the Beatles ones and rarer than full sets of Stones monthlies too! These are a spare set for me so if anyone is interested in trading just let me know. mattleeuk@gmail.com

These cards came out years ago !!!....it's quite obvious to me that someone bought the 'un-sold' lot at an auction and is now re-introducing them for sale to the public after sitting on them for a couple of years...happens all the time except usually they come back on the market at a cheaper price...if I'm correct, these prices were the 'original' prices...they should be offered at collector shows for about $20-$30 per pack....it's up to you....peter

I know. The odd thing is, you would expect them to start on the OFFICIAL site,
get discounted, then show up on the "bootleg" looking site.

Whne he started this thread 2 years ago these cards were on a funny looking site,

NOW they are on the official site, as a new item..

OOPS!!!!! they changed it from yesterday.
I juts looked and they are NOT on the new page anymore : )

but they are here, but ONLY the cards, not the one sheets.

[rollingstones.shop.bravadousa.com]

I am not buying anymore Stones stuff.
I have too much cool Stones stuff already, I do not need anymore,
except for some things I bought last night, but only because
they were on sale. I bought 2 THIRTY DOLLAR wallets for only $10.00 each
[rollingstones.shop.bravadousa.com]
and I bought some Chritmas cards marked down 33% ( $1.25 per card )
and of course I had to pick up a couple of XL "Shine a light" shirts for only
$10.00 each, [rollingstones.shop.bravadousa.com]
but that is all, except for a couple of other $10.00 items, BUT...
I did NOT buy the sunglasses, marked down to $75.00 from $300.00.

I just couldnt buy something that says....
....and I QUOTE;

""Extremely high quality handmade sunglasses featuring multicolored
mirrored lenses with a classic tongue logo. Comes with classic tongue glasses
case and are available with green or red ear arms.
This eye wear is not intended for use as sunglasses or for driving.""

LOL, sunglasses NOT to be used as sunglasses?

[rollingstones.shop.bravadousa.com]

I am not going to buy anymore, but I guess I am not buying any less; )

look like the buttons they had in the 80's. I had like 40-50 of them. All on my sunvisors of my car.

had or have??
Bet ya smile every time you look at em,

I like the Stones.

I remember the original 60's set when I was at primary school. The Beatles cards were more popular, but the big thing then was American Civil War cards with fairly lurid drawings of people getting blown to bits and really cool facsimile confederate banknotes (which is what made them popular at my school). Also remember WWII cards - black and white photos - as being very popular. The chewing gum was always dried up and horrible and, as I grew up in a small village with only one or two newsagents, nobody managed to collect a whole set of anything.
