A friend of mine's on dial up. Says it limits the amount of time he spends online so he can have a life. Guess that's a valid argument.

I'm still on dial up at home as my wife and I are rarely ever online. Can't see the point in spending the xtra money for something we rarely use. Work here though is state of the art. When I travel I am wireless, which I would never say is faster than broadband - it's a smidge fastern dial up but not by much. Broadband is by far the best.
havent had dial up for about 3 yrs but lookin like have to go BACK to it in about a month!!! reason is a move to new part of town which as yet is not bband covered! what r they waiting for?! hopefully will be fixed up by spring. not lookin forward to steppin bak in time. bband in work tho! haha oh its a beautiful thing.
whats the story w the latest thing they have in korea and japan? seemly makes bband look like dial up?!
