It did not make sense at all. Everybody knows Mick. And I am sure Keith hated it. He did it a few times. These days Keith just points at Mick and everybody knows...
the end of most shows is when Mick takes his extra bit of acknowledgement. if they asked me about this ... ahem, well: they haven't asked me have they.

no, not on the dvd, must have been another concert. I quite liked it when he was introduced as well, as in love you live, for instance.

Some young woman behind me during an ABB show asked her friend "which one is Keith and which one is Mick", and her friend didn't know the answer.

Maskes you wish you were an axe wielding maniac without a conscience, doesn't it?
when I saw the posts just above this one I'm about to post soon...
Indeed I am very very sure that at least a third of the audience in any regular stadium does not know the names of all the Stones. Is it a shame? Maybe. Do they have a f*ckng great time? YES. They may not know the names, but they will always remember that night and will always speak with great passion about that single once in a lifetime experience.
For them: -No setlist disapointment -No Wood vs Taylor bullsh*t -No Keith health issue -No Blondy Chaplin moaning -No irritation about Chuck orchestering the show -No counting of ABB-songs -No regrets if they did not see Midnight Rambler (they don't know the song!)

I dont believe that for a second. More fuel for this myth that Stones audiences appear to be made up of absolute idiots who dont even know more than 1 or 2 members of the band, but who only know about 5 ot 6 songs - yet theyre prepared to pay the highest ticket prices in the world to see them.
Sorry - dont buy it.

How can you tell? More to the point - how can THEY tell?
' A once in a lifetime experience' they'll always be talking about? About a band they dont really like? Doubtful.

they should all be sad souls on their computer studying the stones allday? maybe a new fan in the making? talk about amoeba, despair...
got me thinking,,,, , ,, i personally know 14 people (ages 22-62, male/female) who attended various biggerbang concerts,, and they were not the cheap seats , only three of them would know who all five stones are,, and these are educated individuals that do live outside of a congo rainforest..

I was talking to a friend about this in London, how I miss Ronnie doing this. We remembered it was one of the tours but thought it was B2B. Sounds like it was VL.

f**k yer right Gazza - they should only play for people who have passed a Stones Facts Quiz. this is brilliant - forget that crap about the Stones making themselves more accessible to younger audiences by lowering prices, playing festivals and all that - what they need is meritocratic ticketing!

100% agree- like I said previously at the first o2 concert some muppet asked me which one was Mick during Keith's set!

Yes, and Keith also hates it (Mick Jagger and his Rolling Stones!). In Frankfurt Keith did his own thing at the end...

I think that same question and answer was uttered more than a few times by the girls in the front row at the beacon last year!
