Aside from some great choices above--

Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival, Dallas, TX, 2004--

The new DVD from 2007, Chicago, IL should be out by November this year.

I am with Elmo Lewis: at the moment, and probably for a good while, "Festival Express"! This one moves me, and I hardly can explain why... There are many, many things I love about this film. One of the highlights is this chance hommage it happened to pay, for me, to Sneaky Pete Kleinow (Flying Burito Brothers gig), because I watched the DVD for the 1st time just a couple of weeks after his passing away, earlier this year.

Yes Gazza, I love One Plus One, not because it's exciting but it really shows what the Stones were about at that moment in time; Brian was washed up, so totally out of it, slumped on the floor of the recording studio, really quite pitiful. If you couldn't understand why Brian was forced out of the band before that film, you will get it after viewing this eye-opener! As much as I have not always been empathetic towards Brian, this movie made me sad for him; he had SO much! He was adorable, talented, in the best band in the world and for whatever reason, he tossed it all away. That's tragic, and I guess we can say his tragic flaw was an addictive personality. Lukester, I didn't know that about the Will username. Actually, I forgot the kid's name in the movie, I remember now!
I just want to add that I also love " The Concert For George", and the " Concert For Bangla Desh". Great music played at both of those events.

I know, but its still only half of a good film. The rest is unwatchable.

Oh man, you guys are missing the all-time music soundtrack, classic, Scorcese's "Mean Streets," which includes Stones classics "Tell Me" and "Jumping Jack Flash."

Scorcese said recently he almost was unable to release the film because he wanted the Stones songs included in the backing tracks and had to pay so much to get them.

The movie starts out with Harvey Keitel in bed waking in a cold sweat to the strains of the Ronnettes' "Be My Baby," and it only gets better: Derek and the Dominoes' "I Looked Away," Chantels' "I Love You So," The Chips "Rubber Biscuit," Marvelettes "Please Mr. Postman" (backing to the classic "I'm a Mook?" fight scene), Nutmegs "Ship of Love", Paragons "Florence" and Miracles "Mickey's Monkey."

The only bummer is that Scorcese has never released the soundtrack because of ownership disputes.

I know what you mean, Gazza! So I guess we'll give it 2 1/2 stars! It certainly could have been edited, alot! Don't you think that it is a real window into the band's inner sanctum? I always said that one of my fantasies would be to go to a Stones recording session, to sit at the control panel and watch the process. The ole fly on the wall routine but I would be visible to interact with the band. Great fantasy, don't you agree?

1. Stiff upper Lip - Live AC/DC
2. Let there Be Rock - Live AC/DC
3. Live at Donnington - AC/DC

Alright already, I'm just waiting for the guys to get back on the road. AC/DC in 2008 will be a nice transition from seeing the Stones in 2005, 2006 & 2007. (and I won't even address the Zeppelin situation).

Has someone mentioned Jimi Hendrix live at Woodstock?

And Ladies & Gentlemen should definitely be on any of those lists.

Is "Rose" music film?
The Divine Miss M's "Fire Down Below" was powerful in that.
