Sorry, Mick wore a wig before. Summer 1969.
You can see him wearing that that wig in the Hyde Park concert film.
But it was not because of getting bald.
He had to cut his hair short for the Ned Kelly role back then and in 1969
short hair did not go with a rockstar.

i'm familiar with that story, but it's never made any sense to me.
why would he "have to" cut his hair before the Hyde Park gig and not after it?
the gig (and the Top of the Pops filming session the day before) weren't last-minute deals,
and a haircut for a film part isn't so hard to schedule. why wouldn't he have it cut in Australia??
Rockman, any insights? was it off season for the sheep shearers or something? :E

No, Vanessa Wood, L'wren does not make all his clothes. She' picks out most of them and helps him put different garments and accessories together.
I think the shirt is produced by the same guys who made the Stones pants and jacket (like in suit) two years ago. Very expensive, extremely trendy and worn by people who did not know much about the Stones. Unfortunately.

The brunette girl is Assissi Jackson(the older daughter of Jade).

Great candid pics. And Mick doesn't wear a wig at Hyde Park, you can see his hair is still dyed from his role in Performance. Seems like he got a trim after the R&R Circus but its still dark. Not sure how you'd pull of that part down the middle if it were a wig. After Ned Kelly his hair was much shorter and just started growing in a little for the US tour.

smoking(No wonder,Keith's raising).After concert,I rang to my brother to go to Grand Hotel to take Stones autographs ,but they went back door.He took Chuck L. autograph and had seen all the girls had gone strolling around the night Oslo,even without safeguards.Oslo is so safe and quiet!

general comment: throughout the 2 year bigger bang tour......the
band (even charlie....but especially mick) has never seemed happier or
more content with their role in the rock n roll world. most every bit
of video (fan video) they always look very happy and appreciative. they also
seem to be more accessible to the media than ever before.

seem more approachable and more accessible to fans too.

of course there could be several reasons....they are legends and treated
as royalty more than ever before because they have become so respectable etc...

the 45-50 year trip is winding down...and they're enjoying every minute of it.

or...if you want to be cynical......the money makes 'em smile.

probably a combination of everything.

Mick seems to be happy with the crowd. So I don´t really understand the fuzz about having a look when they´re not onstage, respectively at the hotel - as long as you do not bother them.

Agreed. Does not make sense to me either. But I just quoted what Bill Wyman wrote in his book "Rolling with ..." and I think Bill shoukd know.

For some reason I dislike wearing fan-clothing (I just don't seem to get the point, no offence to people who do, they often look great) but if I could find THAT jacket somewhere.... man that's probably the greatest and most tasteful piece of RS-clothing I've ever seen... and probably a one-off...?

I have seen the same design on a t-shirt here in London, no problem. The jacket may well be a one-off......

well ... not necessarily - and/or what he knows and what's in the book are not always the same thing.
there are factual errors in Rolling With the Stones - not many, and not "important" ones -
except that when Bill gets something wrong, it's harder to get the true facts a proper airing,
because of this "Bill should know" feeling that a lot of people have.
