Stoneswise - I remember hearing "Stray Cat Blues" for the first time and thinking that everyone should know this song. yeah, it was long ago, but what an impression!

Otherwise - Everyone should hear "September Gurls" by Big Star.

i remember when i first heard "Ladytron" by Roxy Music, on a live bootleg from 1972. i was blown away, and forced all my friends to listen to it aswell, and they were also blown away!

Yeah those kind of experiences Lukester... You're kind of into a band, let's say The Rolling Stones ;-) and think you know quite a bit of this band, then you hear a song you've never heared before... What do you think of that song?

In my case this afternoon was my first listen to the entire TSMR, I heared Take It Or Leave it for the first time and thought, well, it is really ok to have not heared this song at all, and now I know why it is considered as one of the weakest albums of early era... But it also took me some years of ignorence before I came across Between The Buttons: Backstreet Girl ao... Now THAT was something. Then I thought: I had really missed the entire switch from the early albums to the Golden Era, which BTB in my perception is.

Indeed and also their first two albums.

Bandwagonesque Teenage Fanclub. the did this in its entirity in london and Glasgow laste year, the even got back the original drummer and don fleming (producer/guitar).
