Mine was back in 1976 in münster.evening show. Maybe--it was because I like their period of 1965-66, and lets say "empty heart", thats the stuff i like. Thats R&B! saw them in Hyde Park--London 69--that was just a great party 73 europe was ok--but not their peak. Well, really didnt like their 76 shows--with "star Star"---you know ,what I mean-, but they come back 78 and saw the Anaheim -Show 1978. Then the stadium -Shows started. Abb-gigs i like more than their 76--gigs!
MEN arena manchester - it wasnt the bands fault - it just i was in the worst seats in the arena! - kinda spoiled it - more so as i found out later that the gig had really good reviews on sound quality etc.. where i was sat was basically - the house pigeon loft!
You cant really be disappointed, as they are a old bunch 'a' geezers. When you buy a ticket, you should realize that. There are good shows and not so good shows, but rarely a show that just sucks. I was a bit disappointed at Radio City Music Hall, after Baltimore, but that was the chance I took when I went. I shoulda stuck with Baltimore.
I was very dissapointed with Earls Court 1976, was up on one of the upper parts of the venue and it was just awfull, my girlfriend at the time said she couldn't believe a band could sound so different to the one we saw in 1973. She never came to a Stones gig again. I have since aquired several boots of this period including the show we went to ,and they sound better than I remember, but the memory of the actual show is still dissapointment

hmmm...if they have the gall to charge the prices they're charging, i think you have every right to be disappointed if the guitar players decide to lay out for half the show.....

Only been able to attend 7 shows over the years, and No Security tour show sound in Memphis Pyramid [nosebleed seat] was a bit "muddy", otherwise, definitely no disappointments.

Oh, you poor darling! You were disappointed in Germany in 1976... I do hope you'll get over it soon. I know it's only 31 years ago, and that such disappointment takes a while to heal, but good luck with the healing process. Perhaps watching "The Biggest Bang" could lift you out of the depression...
First time 1973 Last Time last Sunday Not a bad one amongst them. They've all had their highs & lows. The O2 on Thursday does take some beating though.
I would have to say was a bit let down at Twick #2 and Churchill Downs. Twick because #1 got all the rare songs that they were playin that leg in Europe and I got nothing new that I hadn't heard live before. Churchill because all I got new was Dead Flowers when I thought for sure I'd finally get Wild Horses.
I was a bit disappointed for a brief moment during Keith's set at Twickenham #2 last year when he did the same two songs as the night before. The fact that I had bought front row seats for both shows at £60 a piece got me into a much better mood after awhile....
I have to it was my first which was @ Wembley Stadium in 1990 on Urban Jungle. It was all a bit to slick for me I guess. I was so looking forward to it and it didn't reach my expectations. I vowed I would never go to another Stones show until my girlfriend bless her bought tix for us to go to Voodoo lounge. I have to say I had tears running down my face when Keith cranked up Dice. I have subsequently spent too much money on them going to a further 9 shows.

Cologne 2006 because Ronnie was terrible, didn't enjoy Frankfurt 2007 because of the volume (delays because roof was closed) but got consoled with Düsseldorf.
i can't say i was ever disappointed at a show i saw. I was not very happy at the Charlottesville show or the very cold night in Washington DC 1997, but i don't blame the band for that

yep - was there - right be b-stage on ronnie's side. show was highly compromised by ridiclously poor sound - couldn't even pick out a single guitar part until maybe 7 songs into it....not among my fave stones experiences.....
