That's what wwe all have been saying after reading the swedish reports, after all... Keith "worse than in Werchter"? COme on!!! The show was excellent!!!

Yes well he's hurt and now he defends himself although I agree about the tabloids being crap. But c'mon, this was a bad year for Keith despite lovely versions of YGTS.

This cant be his own words, a ghost writer's work.

far and way-way beyond absurdity; he is not he one to blame.

Ove has been isolated and an outcast; as I get it without any
substantial reason. He told the truth; and it is what has been
don with the truth, how it has been misused and exploited
which is the crucial thing here.

I agree Baboon, about Ove, he hasnt done anything wrong, the man has one of the warmest stories about the band and Keith. He talked to someone in Gothenburg and was probably just being honest. And why shouldnt he. Then the tabloid used that. Of course its bad if the tabloids give 2/5 based on that. Svd gave 4/6.

I think this is very strange. Why would he bother with Swedish tabloids? It can´t be the first time they got bad reviews, why did he feel he had to react this time? Í thought Keith Richards was a person who couldn´t care less about reviews anyway.

I can't believe Keith would do something like this. I mean direct criticism at two Swedish tabloids and tell them "to write the truth". That's not what I would expect from a rock'n'roll star who's been in showbiz for over 40 years and ought to be used to how the tabloids operate and to realize that a review is highly subjective and has nothing to do with an absolute or scientific truth. To level criticism at the tabloids, especially if it's not constructive in any sense, only makes Keith appear as a ridiculous loser. That's very sad and unfortunate. The newspapers in Sweden will have a field day due to Keith's letter. By the way, I did attend the Cothenburg gig and I loved every second of it.
