im due to fly from glasgow to stansted early sunday morning for the stones gig on sunday night.
during the week, my son had a bout of sickness and diorhea, then my daughter got sent home from school same day cos of it, a couple of kids in the same street got it too.
i said to the wife, see if i get it at the weekend, could well ruin my life.
as it happens i have got it, havent eaten for more than 24 hours and feeling like crap, spending lots of time in the toilet aswell which isnt condusive to traveling and concert going.
if i dont improve i wont be going to london to see the stones.
im well p1ssed off, was looking forward to this weekend for 4 months.
now it might not happen.
i have 18 hours before im due to leave the house.
im just hoping and praying things will be ok, if it was any other weekend it wouldnt have mattered.
I think you should go to the pharmacy next door, and ask for two things - a cure to kill the bacteria, it is very common, ask for instance ERCEFURYL or something alike Nifuroxazide-based - a cure to stop the diorhea, immodion or alike
Bobby, you just have to get over the start and the landing, where you are belted, no problem with the rest of the time as there are toilets anywhere. Come to London!
Hey WBL, I'm headed from Prestwick myself (10.15) - coming back after catching an early morning bus to Stanstead for a flight up at 0640. Maybe see you - look out for the stones pin with the St Andrews cross.
Hope you and your kids are Ok - do you think kids sense that adults around them are just about to have fun and they figure out how they can mess things up?
tell the family you love em so much but catch that show or you will be kicking yourself for the rest of your life!!!!have a great one cheers and remember no smoking in O2:-)
Eat plain boiled rice with plain natural yogurt (preferably one with L. acidophilus in it to promote a healthy gut) and drink lots of water. Good luck!!
Nothing, not even explosive diarrhea would keep me from going to the last show if I had a ticket. Besides, it would give new meaning to "A Bigger Bang". It may even be the Biggest Bang. Enjoy.

WBL - Cool, I'm headed for the Pilot Inn before the concert to be in the company of Legends of the Boards. Maybe catch you there and we can make arrangements.
Hope the various remedies suggested do the trick. Missing the show isn't an option, if all else fails, use a suitably sized cork.
