How did you find out you were banned? Did they email you..and if so and it was a suspension, then you can come back after 10 days but you have to email them.
The Clash is a very raw band...and very important IMO....go down load London Calling, The Call Up, Charlie Don't Surf, Brand New Caddilac, Magnificent Seven..just for a mild start

You bet. Next to the Stones and Beatles, possibly my favourite band ever.
certainly for me the best band to have emerged since the 60's.

Me. I saw them 12 times - 11 with the classic line-up including Mick Jones and Topper Headon, and once in the FrankenClash incarnation, which was rubbish.
after the stones was the clash the most important band in the world. The first album is a classic. In 1977 Joe sings"no elvis beatles or the rolling stones but Joe was also a great stones fan,he was seen on many stones concerts.
yeah, after starting out listening to their 2 sprawling masterpiece albums, go back and listen to their first album, and you won't be disappointed either !

I always said if you ever met someone who had never heard rock music before but was intrested in knowing what it was about you could hand him/her two albums and it would pretty much cover all the influences.
