Anyone ever seen it?

I am taping it copying it from DVD to VHS right now (it is actually copy protected, so i couldn't burn it)

I remember when it was made, 25(?) years ago. I think it was done for Showtime television, which we didnt have, so i never saw it.

A couple of days ago, my wife went to the library with my kids and they saw it, so they took it out for me. It is due back tomorrow, so I figured I would copy it and watch it with the kids this weekend. Hopefully it wil turn out to be one of those kid videos I won't mind watching with them over and over and over...

Any one have any previews for me/us.

I remember watching it more or less by accident. I really couldn't believe it was Mick playing the Emperor of China.

I bought the laserdisc of this a couple years back, but I've never actually watched it. I'll have to do that eventually.

Yes I saw that when it came out on public television and thought it was quite good, very different. It was weird seeing Mick playing such an odd role but with his hair pulled up from his forehead so tight, it made his eyes squinty, like a real Chinaman!

How did Mick end up playing a character in a TV version of a fairytale by HC Andersen?

I saw it on television also but it was quite some time ago and I don't remember too much about it. Mickschix's description of Jagger is spot-on.

I just watched this with my daughter last month. He should work that moustache again, it's a good look for him.
