"Bud" as in "Budweiser" I think is brewed in St. Louis. They probably get their water from the Mississippi River which I think is pretty dirty, especially by the time it gets to me in New Orleans!

Lone Star comes from Texas, exactly where I do not know. But thanks for reminding me about Lone Star. I haven't that in years. Need to try it again. They can keep Bud in St. Louis for all I care.

California has good wine.

as far as beer, Bud, Coors, Miller as all sub par in my opinion, I do like several of the Sam Adams beers. but I usually stick to either micro brews or European beers. I'm not a big fan of Guinness, but I hear it taste much better in Ireland, so I am looking forward to trying it there in 3 weeks.

Ry Cooder...nothing wrong with that!

Hey watch it on the Bud bashing. I singlehandedly kept them them in business for years. You want to talk bad beer. Coors. That's made from what spills on the floor when they make Bud. And yes California has some mighty fine wine.(an d good micro-brews as well).

I respect what you are saying sweetcharmedlife, that's why when I make these type of comments, I always try to remember to say, in my opinion. (After all, all of our taste buds are different, i think.)
