I'm glad to see you writing this. I remember that I talked to you briefly at the Dodger Stadium show about the possibility of the 2008 US tour including a lot of small markets, so maybe that will go ahead. I certainly hope so.

Hey Tod. I've been saying the same thing for a while now. A small, spring 08 US tour wouldn't be out of the question. While Gazza does'nt think so. BV does beleive their might be more shows. Choose your poison. I just don't think they could resist one more jaunt to the states. A couple years break won't do any good. Thier would be even less interest then. Calling it quits?......Then what?...........Fade away.........These guys love the limelight too much.

I know you said no detals. But if they'll keep touring next year, do you think there is a possibility that they will come to South America again. They don't need to release a new record to fill stadiums here.

There is a possibility to go to the USA next year so this is good news for me.I have to see them one more time

I personally hope they have a break, as much as i love the stones i fear they are over saturing their market and coupled with high ticket prices and more all seating venues <germany> and with reports of lower attendances surely its a time for all to have a decent break.

I realise our american fans will be saying thats okay for you to say has we have had two european summer tours <did i say summer in the uk, with all this rain!> I have two lots of tickets for the 23rd & 26th at the 02 and i must admit i even have thoughts about flogging the tickets for the 26th as it coincides with the bank holiday and getting away for a few days, but supposedly its the last show of this tour and i know deep down i will still go.

More optimism is floating around....Good news to start the day with whatever it will be. I'm beginning to save for Wembley 08/09. A dream that might ,might come true at the end. 5€ per day.

I'm starting to save for Sportpaleis (Antwerp), Ahoy(Rotterdam), and some venues in London (dream: Royal Albert Hall) @ 200-350eur/ticket

There were rumours a month ago the stones would do some more 2007 europe gigs in holland, cheaper and in better locations (the kuyp)

The Kuyp is a venue the stones can sell out any time (if the price is reasonable too)

If by reasonable, you mean cheap.

i am not saying anything, only that there were rumours. Wich will be not true for 90%

Lengthy tours are somewhat improbable IMO, but shorter bursts of touring every year, leaving them ample time in between to put their feet up and pursue other projects is something I've believed is the way forward for some time and whcih is also more practical in terms of keeping the 'machine' of touring reasonably active on an ongoing basis.

i couldn't agree more.

Last chance to rock stones lovers! Believe me, after 2007 live concerts by the group will be different again (less good?). Too late for 1981 again. Rock now stones! Then rest.

If the stones hit the road again in 2008 I would be impressed. This sounds fantastic! Hope you're right, Bjørnulf.

I agree with Gazza.

I've also always felt that they won't make a decision to stop because it's esaier not to.
It's easier to carry on with lighter schedule than it is to make big a decision and face self imposed retirement.
I don't think ANY of them want to even consider it at this stage. They just want room in their lives for other things.

They will tour again! They don´t stop touring. Their life is touring, again and again.Till one of them dies on the road.

I love your optimism and I think you are right. Evenutally they need that fix which can only be obtained from the energy between the audience and the band.
