O K I asked for your favorite Stones Album on another thread. Now what about your favorite non Stones album. Mine is Blonde on Blonde Bob Dylan . This is another album that I have re bought a few times over the past 40 years
this is a tough one! let's see, Led Zeppelin one, maybe 2, or 4...no, no, how about Dire Straits "Making Movies", that's a great one, or AC/DC Highway to Hell.OK, I'm going with Back in Black.
Out of several dozen, keep coming back to The Very Best of Elvis Costello and the Attractions. None of the songs miss, and the passion and timing of the last song, I Want You, is breathtaking...
The Beatles - White Album The Beatles - Revolver Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffitti Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind The Clash - London Calling Bob Marley & Wailers - Kaya

I saw a 3 hour Bruce show once that wasn't too shabby..........Oh and an unsolicited Bruce rumour. In today's SF Chronicle, there was a small item about an E-Street Band show in Oakland in Oct. Unconfirmed of course.
"It's just some friends of mine and they're busting down the door"
Yeah, Born To Run would be near the top of my list. I saw one of those marathon shows - unreal. I too have heard that a CD and tour with the E-Street band was coming up this fall. Are they recording now?
Yeah theres strong rumours for a new ESB album later in the year with a year-long tour to follow.
BTW - contrary to myth, Bruce has never played a show that lasted four hours. Quite a few on the US leg of the 'River' tour however were relatively close. Nassau Coliseum New Years Eve 1980 was the longest ever. The longest one I ever saw was at wembley Stadium in 1988 when he played for a few minutes over three and a half hours.
