it wouldn't be the same if Sir Reg behaved himself, and
didn't get his knickers in a twist
...it's probably written into his contract

Awww, how cute, little tiny weak men with little tiny badges and little tiny minds getting off on having a sliver of power and authority for a tiny little moment.... how disgustingly pathetic... I could care less about Elton John, the last thing I bought of his was BLUE MOVES 200 years ago... I just know how these A-holes behave.... Having gone through Heathrow WAY TOO MANY times as a photographer loaded up with film they always took such great delight in playing their little power games when it came to a hand check of 100 of rolls of film that could not be destroyed or negatively affected by their miscalibrated X-ray machines... I won't get into details - BORING - but it's all part of that tiny brain group with a shiney badge that I would have to always deal with in the UK and USA (yeah, mainly those 2 for some strange reason... the French and Italians seemed to be much more relaxed)... All this security and things still keep happening, maybe "Show" man Elton knows "a show" (Security Pretending to keep people Secure) when he sees one.....

but his hair is terrific...where'd he buy that thing? alright elton...
what a waddling little snot...security had their orders, and those kids mother was killed in a mob an uncontrollable mob situation on wheels...elton's hardly the security expert; showed great disrespect...and showed his true lazy ass waddling colors...what a pristine talent he was...what a gorgeous contribution as a spirit and writer and player and singer...but as a person, he's turned into an irrelevant old embarassment a long long time ago...

screaming at working people with orders from security management, because he can...because he's richer than god and has a very inflated view of his own disloyal unroyal highness...imo. what a dip.

i hear ya, helter. i was actually denied entry into the UK last year from France because i wasn't carrying a passport. From France! Within the EU!!! Unbelievable; it's the only EU country that you need a passport to enter from a neighbouring EU nation.

oh well; enjoyed those three extra days i got in paris anyway!

Don't know what it is with him.
He used to come over as a nice grounded bloke...the older he gets the bigger twat he appears to be.

I can't imagine Mick behaving like that...though he might have forwarded a bill for the shoe leather ;^)

Here in AMERIKA, our cops would have used a taser on Elton as soon as he mouthed off.

I took a flight from Frankfurt to London recently. I arrived two hours before the flight and I barely made it onboard because of two hand luggage checks, and metal detectors that basically went off virtually every time someone passed through. But, I, and everyone else seemed to accept it, and the recent bomb scares just underscore the importance of heightened safety procedures in the UK.

Beely my amigo, gonna have to slightly correct some stuff here. Princess Diana died because the car was going at an extremely high speed (close to 100 MPH) considering the road they were on, with a drunk driver behind the wheel. When you enter the tunnel that goes under Place de l'Alma, there's a weird bump in the road and then it immediately starts curving to the right slightly. If you're going too fast that bump and curve can easily throw off your steering and make you go almost airborne for a second. Once inside the tunnel there are nothing but pillars in the middle with no lower metal guard protection (which would make the car scrape along but not hit one of the pillars head on, like they did). I was staying just up the street, AVENUE BOSQUET, the night the accident happened and was there before they even towed the car away (but after the ambulances left) due to a phone call from a friend in the states since it was the middle of the night. Was there the next day again to take a look at what was going on and check out the road . Since all of Paris was totally paralysed and shocked beyond belief with the news anyway, not much else to do. The mob that was following her was something she was totally used to. It's very highly speculated that the excessive speed was due to Dode (sp?), her boyfriend, not being able to handle them and telling the drunk driver to keep speeding up. It was pure emotions over safety and logic. BTW, If Diana had been wearing her seat belt, she most likely would have lived. Henri Paul (driver) and Dode never had a chance. There, those are the facts. I was there for months after and read EVERYTHING about it. If you saw the place you would see exactly what I mean about the bump and curve and everything...RECKLESS/DRUNK DRIVING killed her...not an uncontrolable mob...

Elton was absolutely spot on - why should he 'drive round the block', just so some stuck up, toffee nosed, pile of puss should go in front - because he's a 'royal'? Big deal.
Elton had been working all day - All prince jerk did was read a few lines off a dumby card to greet the crowd, eat strawberries with his hooray chums, and fart in his girlfriends face.

With all due respect turd, what's that got to do with it? The policeman was doing his work (too) and did it good. It was a security issue and he shouldn't have had nothing to do with dealing in figuring out that Elton John was a Sir after all and a "nice music person".

Lol that reminds me of another Elton hissy fit.

He flew in to Glasgow for a concert accompanied by his boyfriend who did not have a passport with him.

Elton was rather put out when he was informed bf could not leave the airport and had to spend the day on the plane.

Dont know if that one made the news, someone working security told a friend of mine about it.
