One of mine -- "Dances With Wolves". Another one -- "Tombstone" (the director's cut). Old-style 50s westerns don't do much for me, as that theme dominated US television in the early 60s ("Gunsmoke", "Bonanza", "Paladin","The Rifleman" and others).

Im really glad the western movies are popular again...did i say that before? well i like them anyway!

those two are indeed very good...i also watch old westerns...but they hurt sometimes but i just have to see them!

Ha ha!! I always play the old Clint movies over and over again...man i like that music!! and those outlaws staring at eachother...we call it eyes movies!!

Yeah that closeup became Sergio Leone's trademark 'shot'.

Oops- can't forget "Unforgiven". Clint Eastwood re-invented the genre with that one.

Last of the Mohicans is nice to....i wish i could see the sixties version again!! It was on dutch tv in the early seventies....
