My wheels are spinning as well, but backwards as I am too far away from the club (Hawaii) and have no connections to get in there anyway...

This is a concert venu so hope I dont break bvs rules posting a hotel if it does I will remove it.

Cant find any pics of the Gran Saló Gaudí on the site only a floor plan.

Do you think people outside will be able to hear what they play ?.

I would imagine the sound proofing is of a high standard.

Reviews of this Hotel dont look very good and one comment in particular about a lot of traffic noise in the rooms on the 5th floor makes me think sound proofing is not what it should be.

May be some lucky people will get to hear if not watch the show.

I noticed that the article mentions that Rhino is going to release an album called The Best Of Mick Jagger. That's the first I've heard about an upcoming best of for Mick, since all we've been hearing about is a new studio album by Mick.

I know this might be a 'thank you' to promoters but I can't imagine thgey really had to do this. I do think there are questions about integrity here - or perhaps not given ticket prices for regular shows etc.

Considering the way this tour has been "promoted", I would have thought a massive kick in the arse was more appropriate rather than a "thank you" concert.

I presume you meant "sponsors" as opposed to promoters. I dont think a 'thank you' is part of the equation. A cheque of at least seven figures is almost certainly the only factor....
