i've gotten curious about the "number of guests" on iorr lately -
861 on the (central European) morning of june 21st - 699 right now (8:24 sunday morning) -
last week too there was a record number of guests, between 600 and 700, so it's rather striking.
any ideas about what's causing that? the tour? iorr's innate superiority as a source of Stones News?
a remote enclave of Stones fans has finally gotten internet access, but they're still too shy to register?
we're being observed (wrong number baby - they know you ain't home)? or ... ???

A little bit strange, I admit. Record number of guest the times the registered users are asleep.

I use to log in ca 6.30-7.30am and at that time there use to be ca 10 users online (plus the hidden ones). So the guests dare to visit the site just when the users aren't here?

i mean: obviously it makes sense when it's an opening night or press conference or something -
the night of the Isle of Wight show, when folks were following the webcams here -

and it seems to me that the usual number of guests was usually around 10 or so, unless something special was going on.
the may 10th 05 press conference/performance at Julliard was the record until really recently;
i don't remember the number but it was closer to 200 than 800, wasn't it?

Possibly the counter is messing up, or there are hundreds of spy bots watching and taking down everything we say.

Maybe the software's been altered or is behaving differently ?

On a world wide basis...is it so odd that a few hundred people might be viewing these pages ?

3 or 4 hundred would seem more likely than 10 or 20 to me .

Yeah it really is not normal 597 on a Sunday...nothing special going on.i just cant believe it!

nope, but it *is* odd that new record numbers of unregistered visitors have come by
at least twice in the last couple of weeks, at times like 9 AM CET, when nothing noteworthy was happening.
and why do the unregistered guests so vastly outnumber the registered users nowadays?
it is weird.

Maybe the site could do with a few more visiting fans signing up and joining in ?

We might then get a slightly lower proportion of jaded and cynical viewpoints around here ! ;^)

I don’t like this. Are they planning something? Taking over the site? Secret gatherings by enemies at our site when we’re asleep? And we haven’t noticed anything! Until with sssoul realized something strange was going on…

i theorized about a week ago that a psychology convention was observing us
to check on the progress of their experiment in scare-mongering, and i still haven't ruled out that hypothesis
