I remember reading a few weeks ago that there were rumors of Mick putting out a solo album this fall/winter. I tried to search for the posts but I couldn't find any. Does anyone know anything about this?

As a side note, I am a fan of Mick's solo work. I love Wandering Spirit and I think Goddess in The Doorway is an incredibly underrated album. Rolling Stone gave it 5 stars but Blender shat on it. What gives? He's a great songwriter no matter what. It's too bad there are so many a-holes out there who like to peg him with a stereotype.

It's a greatest hits? I thought it was a new solo cd??

Mick Jagger is currently finishing work on his fifth solo album, which is aimed to be released by the end of the year. The new album is likely to be issued through the newly established Capitol Music Group, which is absorbing the Virgin brand. Please do not expect any official confirmation regarding this album for quite a bit of time still. They have a tour to do first...

Keith can't write songs anymore due to his drug / alcohol problems - the creativity has gone..... that's why a Mick Solo CD

I think it is great anyway to have a Mick cd. I liked very much GODDESS, the musicians on it like Townshend or Lenny and the duet with Bono.
It was a good idea to have friends around.

Wandering is the best one. I remember the excitement when the Webster hall was partly aired on MTV (at this moment this tv was not for kids... remember ROCKBLOCK with MJ as guest for ex).

So I am glad to have a new stuff to listen to.

Mick said that he would wrote more songs soon, in the interview made for radio NRJ
