Absolutely a great album IMO. It kicks ass. A shame that it goes dead in the very final part before the two Keith songs. Those two redeems it though. Many, many great things on it.

Fabulous album. Not a dud track on it. Ten years on and I still play it a lot.

Yes, that's it. Also done by the Faces. Thank you!

I personally think it's far better than Voodoo Lounge. I was surprised when I first got on these boards how many people love Voodoo. Maybe I'll start a thread in a few years called "Reconsidering Voodoo Lounge". Anyway, yes, I think B2B is a strong album - three great Keith tracks, Flip, Gunface, Anybody Seen, Saint Of Me, Out Of Control - all of it really.

As different as they are, VOODOO LOUNGE and BRIDGES TO BABYLON are the crowning jewels in their latterday output. I love 'em both.

Me too.
I must be one of the evident minority amongst us who actually enjoys the band's modern era output as much asI do most of the "classic" earlier stuff.

I sometimes think we have folks around here who are fans of three or four different bands . Folks who really love one or two periods in the band's history but for whatever reason, can't get on with other periods.

I feel lucky that I like ALL OF IT ;^)

I think its a great set of songs, but Flip The Switch really doesn't do much for me at all. I think its the 'Woah-yeah, Woah-yeah' part I don't like. It's just a bit rubbish.

Well, 7.5/10 for me. Very strong album in my humble opinion

I would rank BRIDGES even higher had they included the No Biz edit of "Anybody Seen My Baby?" and the original version of "Might As Well Get Juiced."

This was my first album that came out when I started becoming a fan. And I thought it was a very rich album. I still skip over "Anybody Seen My Baby" and I don't appreciate "Flip The Switch" as I probably should..but the rest of the songs are keepers, imo.

I remember being 13 years old and being amazed by the sheer speed and ferocity of the intro to "Too Tight"--playing it over and over. It still gives me goosebumps.

I still get whisked away during the first 90 seconds of "Already Over Me."...the acoustic guitar...then Keith coming in...and Charlie's snare: "On the way...down to Mexico..." Love it.

The album is strong and has a meanness to it that I love. This and ABB my top two from the 90's on...

i´ve heard it started as two solo albums from keef and mick, sometimes i like to listen but sometimes i don´t want to, it´s an interesting album but not their finest work.
i don´t think that´s bad, none of their albums is bad, but some´you can´t play always

The B2B album was rubbish, aside from a clutch of tracks, though the tour was superb.

Voodoo kicks it into touch anyday. As does Bigger Bang, which I still like a lot.

To this not-yet-thirtysomething lover of late period Stones music, B2B is as good an album as VL. And they're both better albums than ABB and SW.
I'd group the released Paris Licks in with the B2B / VL material.

i like juiced because again it shows that the boys are trying something different, that is what sets this band apart from the rest. even if juiced seems to fall on its face it shows that someone has their ears in the air.
keith's remark about babyface is histerical because he realizes that there is really no limit to what the stones can do and why should some flashy producer come in and tell him what is good and what isn't.
still trying to make sense of the album over though...B2B is one of my top ten travel discs, never leave home without it and when you slap it on, the party will jump up a notch...

Hey, finally I find people wo share my opinion - which is of course that I think Too Tight is the best track on this album, too!

I vote B2B best of the last 4 studio albums.
That Faces is from a BBC show that I recorded and watch every now and then. I always thought of OOC when I heard the humming. Wonder if Ronnie suggested it for OOC??

B2B is great album!
Always loved it, personaly, think that's the record that I listened the most, still, 10y after, didn't stop.

IMO, the best in the last 2 decades (not counting KR and MJ solo)

Welcome to the club! I find it strange that this song is considered "a filler" by the many...it's got a terrific punch that rocker, a PERFECT live song - it's a wonder why it's one of the 3 BTB songs that haven't been performed live yet.

This is a great album which would be even better if they left a couple of fillers off - the thing is, agreeing on what is filler will never be done on this board because everyone has a favorite!

I think that TITN/HCIS is probably one of the greatest ever endings to a stones. I mean, they have had better songs to end an album but this combination is just great. I can never listen to one song without the other - in the same order. Seems like sacralige.

Can't listen to it. The song's got great guitars, but the melody line (vocals) is knicked and ripped right off another band (Live). It's like listening to Love Removal Machine with The Cult (a total theft of Start Me Up).

Dreadful cover, though. What's that lion all about? I bet it put off many a curious purchaser.
