First, I don't think they're wearing wigs and secondly, if they are, I really couldn't give a damn.

Keith wig ? he's got a big bald patch!. Ronnie is obviously sporting one but has been since the 70's. but the one that stands out a mile a screams 'YES IT'S A SYRUP' is Mick's. its horrendous

those press rehearsal photos show it off a treat

Has Ronnie been sporting a wig since the 70's?????? His dad was bald indeed but I didn't know this????

Get a life Mathijs

There absolutely no evidence photographically or written of any of the stones wearing wigs. Plenty of hair dye yeah, but no syrup.

Stupid thread......

Wigs sounds very old-fashioned. I´m shure the boys in the Stones can afford a decent hair transplant if they need it. Can´t see why that should upset anyone. After all, we live in the golden age of make-overs...

Pete is absolutely right on the money here.

I think people shouldn't be so hard on Mathijs. If you don't like the post, don't respond it.

I have no idea whether any of the Stones are wearing wigs. Mick's hair often looks bouncy and fuller in concert--especially when compared with that recent pic of him signing the autograph.

When a person actually uses a fan site to throw garbage at the
very band this site is disposed to honour; then one might be
allowed to critize the mud-thrower.

First, when Mathijs was writing about their way of playing and
performing nowadays I could quite follow him in some points.
There´s always need for critics (as long as they are fans).

The problem with the wig story is that it´s just pure tabloid trash.
That´s the style of all the others who don´t know anything about the Stones
as musicians, but know everything about their age, their number of
children, their divorces etc. Mathijs, what´s wrong with you?

That´s just not what I´m interested in. Let them wear wigs or snort
the ashes of their wigmaker - I just don´t give a flying @#$%&.

I think Mathijs (who posted after 11:00 PM and probably after "having a few beers and smoking a few joints, alright") is laughing seeing how his wigs thread has reached a second page...

lol- much missed, if only for generating misplaced expectations of
exclusive club shows.

Pete might have been on the money but I prefer Keiths on stage performance over Pete's any day of the week. I was at the who concert in Ahoy this Tuesday. I loved it.

I'm glad the Stones still play and I will continue to attend a show whenever I can. I don't understand what all the bashing is about. This is 2007. they still do what we all love them for.

I'd rather read threats on guitars, drums, parties, pictures, meet n greets, quotes, anything but this recent bashing.

Last time round it was Ronnie getting the heat and the time before it was Chuck clunkin' away on his piano way to much. This time it's Keith.

Stop it guys. If you don't like em like they are today, please stay home and put on Let it Bleed one more time. If you decide to come, come to have fun.

I wish I could play the guitar like Keith or Ronnie or had a hairdo like mick.

Let's all enjoy while it lasts.

See you in Nijmegen guys.

You spend alot of time finding things wrong with the band. I wish I had that much spare time. I think I'll spend a few hours a day going on Celine Dion web sites and blog about how ugly she is. NOT!! why.......I have a life! LOL. Chill out Mr Mathijs don't let the Stones bother you. There is more to life.

Mathijs had a bad day - wonder if he himself is getting bald.

Complain about the music - not making things up like Mick or Ronnie wearing a wig..... and what is wrong about coloring the hair, it is more than normal coloring the hair nowadays, when passing the 50'ies - millions of men and women do, so what is the big problem here????

LOL!!! This thread is hilarious. Keep 'em coming Mathijs.

By the way, take a look at this review of the Vredenburg/Utrecht club gig in 2003 written by Mathijs[www.iorr.org] Scroll down the page and you'll find it.

I don't see what's the point of this thread. With all due respect but doesn't we have some more interesting things to talk than another wig-thread?

god have mercy - we have wingless angels in front of our eyes and most of witnesses are still complaining.
