How many of us on this forum are going? I am.

I'm looking forward to Ash, Wolfmother, Amy Winehouse, Donovan and The Fratellis as well as the Stones. Not too impressed with Friday night lineup (I particularly hate Groove Armada) and I don't know whether I'll like Muse or not but I'll give them a chance. I'll probably use Keane to push down to the front row but I'm not interested in seeing them - I just don't really get them.

It's about the worst festival line up I've ever seen.

With one notable exception.

Still going to be a blast, though!

Two nights pissing it up in a tent and one night watching the greatest rock n roll band in the world!

I wish. The 2nd day has a much better lineup though.

Ach - I was just being a curmudgeon. There's a few minor highlights - Ash, Fratellis, Donovan, a Beatles tribute band.

But just consider that Glastonbury tickets are about the same price and the amount of fun you could have there if the Stones had decided to take the Eavis dollar.

I'm just hoping they throw in a few surprises into the set and don't worry about alienating the non-fans in the audience.

Nightmare scenario - they play Let it Loose at every show except Isle of Wight, where they play Miss You twice

True about Glastonbury - but the stones AREN'T playing there.

Anyway, I'd hardly call the Stones a Beatles tribute band!

I am looking forward to it, mainly because as it's a festival i will have the opportunity to get close to the action at the front. Only had a 2nd tier ticket for Twicks 2 last year (which was my 1st stones gig...i'm only 18) and i was born and used to live on the Isle Of Wight so the stones appearance there is kinda special if that makes sense!?

It's about three miles direct from where I live so I couldn't miss it. But I will not be there on Friday or Saturday. Off to Holland to see some old English blues band !

Myself, paulywaul and BarRoomQueen will see you all there!

We'll be wearing (at least I certainly will) IORR T-shirts and there'll be palm trees and parrots in close proximity ... !!

I'll keep an eye out for IORR T shirts but I won't be wearing one myself - the colour doesn't suit me.

I'll be there - look for the shortest, fattest (and probably the oldest) IORR-T-shirt-wearing female and that'll be me. I'm the sort of ancient Stones fan the Press like to sneer at, but frankly, my dears, I don't give a damn.

I didnt know Donovan was going to be playing, I would have went. Sounds like some great bands playing. I'll see 'em in London.

Donovan was a fairly late addition to the line-up - certainly announced after the Stones were.

The GR was born and bred in Hythe ,Hants, the cruicible of civilisation.
