Isn't it about time to set up the stage for Tuesday.
I am wondering that so far we did not see anything and assuming that no on stage tickets are being sold it will be hopefully not the truncated South American stage.

I am organising my self for the premiere.

Are there special tix for the FOS section?

Will it be raining (weather report says so ...)?

They probably never intended to tour, they have lookalikes who lock themselves in a studio every night to play Stones records and make outsiders believe they rehearse.

Actually nothing indicated that something is not ok - they can build that bloody stage in 24 hours, so...

To set up too early would cost more in venue rental charges, hired security and so on....

Häää? What's that? They built-up last year's big ABB-stage in a German arena?
And if they did so, they still have two other similar stages so that they should start to build-up one of them in Werchter. I remember local newspaper in Stuttgart, which reported about the "roll-in" of the first trucks exactly six days before the show. We have three full days to go and obviously no trucks nearby the field....so - for me it's a sign, they won't use the "On Stage"-stage, unfortunately.

thats wrong
it takes at least 3 days to build up the abb stage
but the stage is in brussels at stageco
building up the stage will start tomorrow in the morning
nothing to worry about
useless to build up earlier as it would cost money to rent the werchter area

It's official:they will use the stage made of four joined tables altogether with small TV set behind it so that everybody could see them.There is not going to be large audience there so that seems enough to please everyone.

they'll take the audience back into town on it afterwards, which is why there's no shuttle buses

The flatbed truck is a Stones Idea and not Bono's. IN 75 Bono did perhaps still piss in the pants. Anyway The first trucks for Zurich last year rolled into the airfield 5-6 days prior to the show. That's why I am a bit confused. At the end it's only the latin version of the stage????

i am cognizant of that, dear, and so i'm sure is Lorenz. we were being lighthearted.
(but while we're keeping the historical record straight:
the Stones got the idea from an old jazz promo tradition - as i'm sure you're aware.)
still, hauling the fans back to town on the flatbed afterwards *will* be an innovation. :E
