Golden Earring from The Netherlands is still after more than 30 years in their orginal line-up.

That would also mean Charlie is not an original member of the Stones...

yeah i knew union broke up in about 2002 and then he joined RATT then when pearcy wasn't the singer anymore. i'm seeing poison with ratt and white lion in about a month. mainly for corabi and then mike tramp with white lion. tramp is the only original member in white lion now. original bass player is now in megadeth, drummer fills in for peopke and guitar player vito bratta who was the next eddie van halen retired in the mid 90's because he thought the industry sucked .
corabi's early 90's band the scream are very good bluesy hard rock

Oh, you forgot one... "Menudo"

"The Monkees" is another...

Hall and Oates
Simon and Garfunkel
Spinal Tap (except the drummer)
The Cream
See, there are many...

Vito Bratta is completeley out of the picture. Nobody ever saw him again after White Lion quit in 1990/1991. I was told that he is running a Deli somewhere in NYC but I'm not sure if that's true. 7-8 years ago I saw a Mike Tramp show and after the concert he had a drink or two with his fans at the bar of the club (Tramp is a very nice guy) and I asked him about Vito. Tramp told me that even he has no contact to him for years. You can't reach him via email or phone. Very weird. He was an amazing guitar player.

Have fun at the Poison, Ratt, White Lion show. WOW. The 80s are back, ;-) I saw all these bands back in the day. I had a lot of fun in the 80s at all these hair band concerts. Those were good times. It was all about fun, girls, cars...stupid little things. The 90s were a lot darker with all the depressive Grunge and Alternative bands. I prefer the 80s. The only good thing musically in the 90s was that the Stones were back!!

Aerosmith although they broke up for awhile, but so did the Stones.

vito actually managed a band or something like that until around 1994. i heard the deli thing too. tramp i think actually got in contact with vito within the last 2 years for a white lion thing but he declined.

btw poison is original members now, or at least the members from the first recorded album. matt smith was the guitar player in early 1985 and cc deville was kicked out in early 1992 and was replaced by richie kotzen then blues sarceno but cc came back around late 1998

AC/DC also hired Chris Slade for the Razors Edge album tour 1990-91.They had another drummer in the mid eighties whos name I forgot.

Simon Wright took over from Phil Rudd in 1983 with AC/DC and lasted until 1988. I believe he left AC/DC to join Dio. Not the greatest career move.
Also, Mark Evans was their original bass player and he was replaced in 1978 with Cliff Williams. In 1988 on their Blow Up Your Video tour, Malcolm was unable to tour due to health problems so their nephew Stevie Young filled in.

Black Sabbath... although they are currently touring with the 1980's version of the band, the original members still tour.

not to mention two drummers (Simon Wright & Chris Slade) and a bass player (Mark Evans)

and if you want to be ultra picky, a singer before Bon (Dave Evans) that did record one 7". and some unknown early bass/drummers

Forget Ginger or Mary Ann. What about Veronica or Betty?

Veronica, for me. I like those brunettes every time! She's rich too.

Did Jughead get that vest from Brian Jones?

sad but true. but there's NEVER been a gap like this between albums. 7 years and counting!

in 2003 they said it was imminent, in 2004 it was coming soon, in 2005 it wont be long and in 2006 'it'll be out before you know it'

bullshit yawning smiley(

i've heard rumours of contract disputes too. but that wouldn't stop them touring. Brian & Cliff have been out gigging, Phil's been seen about and producing some bands. and Angus has been in public too. the only one nobody has seen anywhere is Mal. and that worries me. he is AC/DC!

BOB DYLAN.

End of discussion.

... Oh, wait. He broke up with himself for several years back in the late '80's, before reuniting.

Right. Sorry about that.

No, they had to replace several drummers. One died of spontaneous combustion, another choked on vomit (not his own).

Keefriffhard4life,
Where are you goin to see Ratt, White Lion, Poison? I tried to talk the wife into goin to see em in CT in June or July - can't remember now - but we've already got a full schedule, and she doesn't like Ratt, which would be the highlight for me.

As for the topic...
What about the Doobie Brothers? I like them but don't know much about them. How long are they in this line up and any changes??

The Doobie Bros.have had many lineup changes over the years and have done several farewell tours.....But to my knowledge they are still touring although I'm not sure with what lineup?.............But I still love the Doobies and thiermelodic hard rock kind of sound.
