I am now going to prepare the IORR meeting in Lisbon!

My idea is getting together in a restaurant that has a wonderful esplanade (terrazza) with a breathtaking view of the Tagus River, and that is very accessible by public transports, and last but not least that has verya reasonable prices (beetwen € 20,00 to € 30,00)!!!!

So I will have to book the restaurant, but I need a confirmation of who is definetly going to be present.

As the restaurante is not very big if we have a medium sized group we can have it all for us, they have an excelent hi fi system that will have a special soundtrack fot this special day.

So please confirm, through this post, if you are coming to the gathering so that I can prepare all in advance and book

I'm staying reasonably near the stadium (two metro stops away in the Roma area), although I only arrive in Lisbon that morning. Even though I've GA tickets, we're in no great hurry to get to the stadium early.

If the commute time isnt too great, I would hope to be there for sure. Thanks for organising this. I look forward to returning to your beautiful city.

Hi Gazza don´t worry with the time you arrive, Lisbon is quite small when compared to other cities in Europe and a 15-30 minute metro trip can take you from one extremity of the city to another.

It´s Only Rock´n Roll

I don´t know still, I¨m travelling from Malaga (about 700 km) by car, this mean, about 650-700 km, I´m suppesed to do it in 6-7 hours (I´ll go out at 06 on the morning, arriving at 13.00)....

My real problem is Lisboa, leave the car and so on.... some portuguese fan can help me or send me some links for know move me in Lisboa??

Not sure, PROBABLY, I´m driving back to home (this seem the mate is coming with me need work on tuesday)... so, I´ll need leave the car somewhere close to the way out to south of Portugal/Spain

Gostaria de ir, mas o certo é que moro a dois passos do Estádio de Alvalade, na Quinta do Lambert e já vi que o restaurante é na Doca de Santo Amaro, o que pressupõe a utilização do carro. A ideia é estarmos juntos antes ou depois do concerto? Tenho um bilhete para o relvado e não me importaria de ir lá para a frente.

I'd love to come. What time? And can you tell me how to get there. I'm kinda on the other side of the world so I don't know my way around Lisbon. Travelling from Australia to Frankfurt, Paris, Lyon, Barcelona and Lisbon. Fly home the day after the Lisbon show... what a great holiday. Meeting some fellow fans would really top it off. Thanks. :-)

I do know Lisbon well, and I would like to get a place central for everyone. Nothing pre-booked but a place open for everyone to come at any time. In the afternoon of show day or may be the day before or the day after, as I know some people go to/from Spain as well. I will check out the locations this week, and if you live in Lisbon feel free to do some recomendations. Thanks!

Some portuguese friend (or people who know Lisboa)...... finally going in bus... so, what´s the station closest to the airport-stadium....... sete rios or oriente??? How far are them from the airport-stadium zone??

Oriente is closest to the airport-stadium zone. U can get the metro at Oriente.

Thansk a lot stilllife..... so, I´ll arrive at morning of 25 and I´ll meet some spanish mates... so, I guess we could go to the meeting too..... but I¨ll confirm in the next days!!!!
