Don't think we'll see the huge one with room for an audience above the stage... It's complicated to build, takes a lot of time, it's expensive to move it around and the Rio stage is probably just as spectacular. It's all about the lights.

that would be a shame for me, haven't been on any of the shows last year
Well, they're billing the ABB-shows on ABB-posters with the ABB-stage: It would be rather cheap to take another one on tour, especially the Rio-thing, which looked more like a wardrobe/cloakroom structure (you know what I mean, the thing you hang your coat on, but then bigger...) than like a stage...

As long as they play, it's fine. But the type of show the Stones perform nowadays DOES have a certain element of show; the ABB-stage contributes undeniable to this show. I don't say a concert misses something without this stage, musically, but I do say the stage adds something to the overall experience.

Well at least put 'em on a table, otherwise only the front row will see them. They're not that tall.

Veronica, a dutch radio-station is the sponsor of the Nijmegen-show... I hope they're going to broadcast at least parts of the show... But I doubt it: something like that would in my eyes only make sense in case of a sell-out. If I were the Stones, I'd say: are you interested in our music? Buy a ticket...
Whatever the stage is like, if it's the Rio-stage or the ABB-stage....they'll have to start build it up at the latest from following monday on. It took 7 days to build it up last year.

Seven is a bit overestimated, wasn't is something like 5 days to build it, three to take it down? 8 days in total? Or 5 in total? 3 to build, two to repack?
I know it has been published somewhere, there has been a special in a magazine/paper last year during the Euro-leg, about the stage etcetera. We've had a thread here too, with a lot of pictures... Going to search for it.
1. inside rumours say they will use the on stage stage 2. on some of the maps from promoters it clearly shows the on stage show (italy and isreal) 3. i don't think they have three 'rio' stages so it's not practical
