Agree about Mick Taylor, but I have to say that I think the majority of people would recognise bill wyman / recognise his name when he was announced on stage.

They would by the time they finished their guest spots!

This show will certainly be the end of "the Rolling Stones " in the way we used to know them during the last 10-15 years.

Nobddy can tell what will be the future of this band but without Charlie Watts and due to their ages, the future will never be as bright and as large as ABB tour was.

Being in this show will mean a lot to me.

that s true
you never will be sure if this is the last concert
i hope they don t have to cancel gigs this year
but if mick taylor plays 2 songs it will be for me the highlight of the tour
[great for a dvd box]

Out of interest, why do you say that?

most people at a Stones show in London wouldnt know who Bill Wyman was?

I seriously doubt that, Adrian.

Hardly matters. The Stones have introduced a lot of people at their shows over the years (and recently) who would have been reasonably unfamiliar to a sizeable percentage of their audience - more so than an ex-band member.

ok , maybe a slight exageration on my part
(born out of frustration, at the ticket prices, showbiz hanger-on's,
and the type of punter, they inevitably attract)

I don't think it will be the last show. But even it was ,life rolls on,and we all have our favourite gigs we have attended over the years. So maybe Paris might be the last time for me.

WRONG. Why should Woody put down his instrument just because some dude didn't have the good sense to stay in the band in the first place? If it weren't for MTs horrible career decisions he could have stayed in the Stones and be known as the "FAT" one.

.......And now, 390 pounds and holding.....MICK TAYLOR!!!!!

If you knew anything about Mick Talyor and the reasons he quit then fine but you obviously don't.Do your homework and find out why he quite sensibly quit.Read the f##cking interviews.

I can't help it if he is an unmotivated person who let the Stones down at a bad time.He has no will to play. The newest thing he is on is a Guns 'n Roses tribute album.Thats sad and pathetic. And people expect him to show up at a Stones show? This is not the kind of legacy that this dude deserves, and yet he's doing it to himself.

I realize that many people live in the past and thats ok.I prefer not to do that, myself.I really don't care that he had no writting credits. Its his fault more than anyone else.

In one of the very first pics of MT with the Stones,a day or two before or after(maybe the day of) Hyde Park, he looked like a freaked out deer caught in the headlights. That pic always summed him up for me.

Mick Taylor made more contributions to the stones sound live 69,70,72,73 then that other guitar guy has done in 30 years. Same with studio contributions Taylor's legacy far outshines what Wood did in the studio IMO. Yes Wood played on more records but his playing was average at best and for the most part
forgetable IMO.

play that guitar boy.

Pay Pay -

Your comment on Taylor not being able to "write" got me to comment.

Now Albett - you need to go back to listening to the: Bay City Rollers

go rock out and leave real music to the big boys...

Well if you all want the stones to call it quits then there'll be no more web site for them because they will no longer be active anymore. Why would anyone on here want the end to come. Just let them keep rolling and believe me when the end does come by surprise we will all wish they were still rocking, but it will be too late then. If Mick and Keith want the reunion for a night or two to happen they will call the shots. They sure won't listen to fans on the web
site to do something. Just let the stones keep Rolling and forget about the END for now. They are here now. When they are gone then you would wish they could come back but not gonna happen after the end. So lets just tip our hats to them that they are still touring, recording, and playing better than ever.
This is just my opinion. You all are great fans and I am glad to be one on this site to. Thanks,

Maybe all those "get Taylor back"-idiots are the reason that the Stones
donĀ“t even want him for a single note - ever again.

Unmotivated? hardly what I would call his decision to finally say: enough
to not getting the writing credits he was told he would get!!! that's his fault?
being lied to? most would "sue" over that kind of a situation. but Taylor
wanted to stay friends with the Glimmers, and numerous sources have said the
Glimmers have told him: Oh we still need to take care of you over that, and still nothing... yeah - his fault!!
