Is "20" fun these days? We had FUN (and nothing but fun) when we were 20, not a care in the world... Now the world is so f*cking crazy it makes me wonder if it would even be close to being the same.... (BTW, Happy Birthday Dude)

Good question. I've wondered the same thing. I just turned 25 and I can't speak for all young people, but I think it's a different world in alot of ways than the world that our parents faced at our age. But then again, I wasn't there so its' hard to say.
I know the drug scene is very different here today than it was when my parents were my age. Booze and pot and psychedelics aren't the big thing anymore. Today it's cocaine and prescription drugs. I live in a small rural town in the southwestern tip of Virginia, and I've seen the area ravaged by Oxycontin abuse. Of the 100 or so kids that I graduated with, I could name at least 15 that have either overdosed or gone through rehab (some mulitple times).
So I know that part is different for young people these days, at least in this area. I'm sure in other parts of the country and world, young people face some of the same vices and struggles that their parents did.
I was 17 when I saw my 2 first Stonesconcerts, I remember that very well. But turning 20 ? That takes some brainpower...O, yeah,I was doing my military service then...next time I´ll turn 43....
I was just thinking about it, 20 was the age I first listened to the exile on main street, sticky fingers and and Beggars Banquet albums ( I had heard a few songs from them before that, but thats when i first got the albums for myself and heard the whole thing). thinking about it more, there were more that year too that I got like aftermath, some girls. out of our heads, black N blue, Tatoo You, Get your ya'yas out, Between the Buttons, IORR, Love you Live... that was just a big year for me as far as getting into the stones... I really went off the deep end.

I was 20 when I saw the Stones in 1981, then was 40% older than that the next time I saw them in '89. Seemed like they were never going to come around again.
When I was 20 it was 1967, The Summer Of Love. A friend and I drove out to Haight Ashbery. We saw The Jefferson Airplane at The Fillmore on acid. No, I didn't wear flowers in my hair. Happy birthday, enjoy your twenties, its a great time of life!
