Finnstone, it's not only the headgear, it's that absence of chin. LOL. He looks like one of the last James Bonds. The suave one...Jeff Pierce ?? Recently did that film "The Matador".

Pierce Brosnan, the last James Bond, now its the young fellow daniel craig, i liked Brosnan a lot as JB, him and Roger Moore

I think the paparazzi just love to get these sorts of photos outside restaurants when the 'celebrity' has just consumed plenty of fine wine/champagne with dinner and is caught off guard. Usually it's Beckham and Posh Spice.

Yeah, we dont get to see the pictures before or after "That" shot.
You can bet there's a series of similar pics - but they have to print and "odd" one.

all in all - he looks fine, imo.

He shouldn't wear all that crap on his head and in his hair. Get rid of all the bandanas, hats, caps and hooks. What's the deal with it?

maybe he likes angling?
can't think why he would have lures, hooks
and sundry fishing tackle , otherwise.

Covering up baldness. The bandanas came in the mid/late 80s due to hairloss. I dont think they look good on him but this pic is cool, the fishhooks etc suit him. The bandana keeps the hair on top of his head.

That's his survival kit - when only he and the cockroaches are walking this earth.

It is on Beauchamp Place in Knightsbridge (not Belgravia as the article states) - I think I would have had indigestion if I had been having lunch there with those two lads at the next table!

Yeah I think it works as an optical illusion when he wears the bandana. It makes it look like he's got more hair than he does. Without it, you can see he has less hair when he's got a bandana on--especially if it's dark colored material--it'll fill in the space and make his head fuller.
