What is going on with Frankfurt? Yesterday there was all sorts of seats available on Eventim and now all you can order is 2 tickets at the highest price: 190 euros.

yes---only the 190 euro tickets

The others will show up again, don't worry!

On monday, eventim publishes a new chart-list, which band sold the most tickets the week before. If the Stones still are #1, ticket-sales are very good...but I believe they didn't sell many tickets the last 5 days

ROWS 4-10

CHOOSE FRANKFURT!

A BEAUTIFUL CITY
Frankfurt! It’s old, it’s new, its Europe’s polished gem on the Main River ready for you to explore! The imposing city skyline is balanced beautifully by the hip riverside promenades and the ‘green belt’ of meadows, woods, and hills that surround Frankfurt.

A BEER GARDEN
Freßgass, or “Glutton Alley” as they call it, is the door to Frankfurt’s international culinary world. The locals quench their thirst with Apfelwein, the famous apple wine often mixed with strawberries in the summertime. Try it! Of course a stein of local German brew might be more your style. There are quite a few to choose from.

A BIGGER BANG
Show time is at the exceptional Commerzbank Arena, where you’ll be eye to eye with the ultimate rock n’ roll band of our era. Choose Frankfurt so you can get “A Bigger Bang” in 2007. You’ll be glad you did. You'll definitely be changed forever!

Details here

See you on the road this summer,

Judjing from what many fans say, i think the sales are really good. But i don't think that #1 on Eventim's chart is a real proof. Why? Just because the Stones will play in bigger, even much bigger, venues than the majority of the other artists. They have to sell much more tickets.

From the other acts, who plays stadiums in Germany? I suppose Police - i'm not sure. The others? Maybe selling 4,000 tickets for a Placebo gig means 50% of the capacity. But as for the Stones, good sales mean different numbers.

To compare it right (all concerts exept RS have standing places infield)

imo the capacities over all for No. 02-05 are bigger or equal to RS, but for sure RS-prices are over the top - like every tour. Get the best, pay best ;-)

Now it is showing NO tickets for Frankfurt! Something must be wrong. There were all sorts of seats left on Tuesday. Maybe they are re-pricing it like in Boston?

How do you get the English to work on Eventim? Doesn't seem to let me have an English order page.

Pick the show,
Select any of the sitzplatz (don't have to pick the one you want or how many, you will get the map).
Pick the section on the map
Pick the seats, 1 at a time
Select the In den Warekorb in the bottom right corner when done
Where it says Deutchland you pick your region and choose "neu berechnen" to get the posting rate correct.
You will now have the total damage for delivery to your country.

Now choose neukunde at the bottom right

At the top of the next page you choose "Nein" if you want the tickets sent to your own address, "Ja" if you want them shipped to something like work.

Pick a username at the top left, password twice at the right side.
Fill in the left side only if you would like tickets to your credit card address.
First name
Family name
Company name (no need)
Street
Country
Post number
City
Phone
date of Birth, (no need)
e-mail
e-mail again

I don't think you need to fill out the right side unless you want the tickets sent to another address than the credit card address.

Wow, not bad for someone who hardly can count to 4 in German.

Sold out? So soon? Hard to believe it- because of the prices. But if Frankfurt is already sold out (or near) we can expect faster sales for the rest shows in Germany.

Frankfurt will come back again.
As this point, 10.30 (am) CET they have taken the whole place down for maintenance.

See you there!

The whole place is down for maintenance since ~10.00PM yesterday! - I guess they have a technical problem.. Frankfurt will be back - there are thousands of seats still for sale...

What we could see from the seating chart just before it was taken down was about 60% sold tickets (if all "grey" seats are really sold which I doubt)so there is absolutely no reason to get excited. There are even a lot of quite good seats on the pitch near the catwalk.Just wait for Monday or Tuesday, you'll see.

The evetim.de site was down all day. Came back up some 20 minutes ago. Still no Frankfurt tickets available.

I forgot to add when ordering through Eventim from abroad.
They use DHL express all over the world I think.
Actually a good idea to fill in the right section with your daytime address.
Unless you have someone at home during the day of course.

First time I ordered I didn't use the work address and it took me 3 days and 4 calls to get hold of them from DHL.

If you need tix for Frankfurt visit kartenhaus.de. All Kind of tix are available. The ticket sales are very slow, I guess it will be like last year, you can win stones tickets at every radio station some days before the show, so I did for hannover, so this time I just wait what happens. Hopefully they don`t cancel one of the german shows because of some coconuts maybe :-)

Re: Frankfurt tickets

I would stay away from getgo and kartenhaus this tour.
If I remember right you can't choose your seats there!??
Major thing this German leg of the tour!

I have used them both before and they are just as great as eventim. But with seats this time you would prefer to know where you end up.

Getgo belongs to eventim and has exactly the same service! Also "Saalpanbuchung"...

Re: Frankfurt tickets

True, thanks, my lack of German. Am way too used to Eventim these days and expected to choose the tickets at the same place.

Very OT: Bored this morning and just noticed at getgo/eventim that the Norwegian band Turbonegro are doing 3 shows in May. Cologne/Berlin/Hamburg.
Go there if you have the opportunity. Great live band.
Have a search at youtube.

Not a goog idea to buy from kartenhaus.de as you don't know what you're getting. No seating chart there. And it's a TM company. Avoid them wherever you can :-)

Still no tickets for Frankfurt, but many for Düsseldorf and Hamburg on getgo.de
a bad sign??

Why? Düsseldorf and Hamburg gigs will take place two months after Frankfurt...

hmmm--just read on "HIGHWIRE", thats fRankfurt tickets sales are very poor
Hope---they dont cancel it again!

Re: Frankfurt tickets

Last year, they sold most of the tickets...

Havo: "hmmm--just read on "HIGHWIRE", thats fRankfurt tickets sales are very poor. Hope---they dont cancel it again!"

The question is what exactly does everybody mean saying "poor sales". For example, rrronnie said : "What we could see from the seating chart just before it was taken down was about 60% sold tickets, if all "grey" seats are really sold". If they have sold 60% from the tickets, or even 50% two months plus before the show, considering the prices i think the sales are good enough.
