good idea...hey, i'll join you. i've already demanded a refund. might be a leverage tool. i'd rather have the M&G.

stonesfrk - i got (real) 2nd row half-way down keith's side. only one person who posted got anything in the front and more centered sections. only keith's side was available online and only 3-4 other sections were available at all. we think the rest were allocated to record store locations or maybe phonesales.

A "meet & greet" is when you get to see the stones for 45 sec, shake hands, be on a picture with them, don't ask anything,....
Clearly something they hate to do. Usually friends of the sponsors.

>> only one person who posted got anything in the front and more centered sections <<

must've missed that post - do you mean in the online sales yesterday, or ... ?
what section?

Yes, did anybody get platea 2, A-D?

Re: Rome Tickets etc
Posted by: loochie ()

thanks ! so does that mean that you see the show from the crappy seat, but get to meet them for 45 seconds? or do you have to give back the ticket and get a refund and not see the show, but still get to meet them for compensation ? maybe the first choice makes more sense...

>> does that mean that you see the show from the crappy seat <<

smile: hey wait a minute - i wouldn't call 2PSE "crappy"! those are excellent tickets!
sections like 1PSB and 1PSC are real far from crappy too -
i understand people being upset that they didn't know what they were buying -
and if anyone asks me if i think you deserve to be compensated for that
i'll say hell yeah - but rows 10-20 of central sections like that are not a bad place to be!

Re: Rome Tickets etc

Date: April 20, 2007 11:08

well, okay, i guess "crappy" is quite relative :-))) i guess i shouldn't complain :-)) anyway, as i'm not a fan club member or a friend of a friend of somebody, i wouldn't really expect to get a personal meeting with them. just checkin out the situation !! :-))

Re: Rome Tickets etc

i'm lookin forward to the 2PSE! it's the front row of the second section that i'd return or sell. but i don't think there's any easy tradeoff for being disgruntled and M&Gs. i don't think the people at ticketone.it are together enough to pull that off. when i emailed asking for confirmation of my seat location, they wrote back that sorry, those tickets are no longer available!

smile: Loochie, you're the one who obtained the seating chart for everybody,
so *of course* you should be invited to this theoretical meet & greet!
if anyone asks me i promise i will make that abuuundantly clear. :E

>> but i don't think there's any easy tradeoff for being disgruntled and M&Gs <<

no, there isn't - but i admire Harm's spirit in demanding one anyway. :E

i do think the lack of a seating chart is real valid grounds for anyone who cares to
to cancel their order/return tickets they bought "blind", and to get a refund on the rs.com fees -
not that the 1PXX tickets are bad, just because there was insufficient information.

with ssssssoul,

if you can get me the chance to shake the hand of the human riff, i will owe you bigtime :-)) hey, come to rome and i'll buy you a bottle of wine ! :-)) or a case of wine for that matter :-))) maybe we can invite keith to drink it with us winking smiley)

smile: Loochie, the chances that anyone will ask me who should be invited are about 0 -
but in case anyone does i will most definitely mention you, i promise. :E

meanwhile, Little Queenie: when you mentioned a few posts back that "only one person who posted
got anything in the front and more centered sections" ... what section did you mean?
and was it in the presales or the online public sales or ... ?
i'm just interested in what ticketone's strategy is, how the sections are being allocated, etc.

i think so too. rs.com are being very helpful - trying to make up for the bucharest mess.

alright. my influence on this theoretical matter would also be about 0, but at any rate if this bizarre opportunity should somehow arise and someone asks me who i think should be invited, i will definitely mention your name too :-)) anyway it's the thought that counts :-))
