12 countries are already rumored, curious where they will add/remove gigs! Btw, perhaps we shouldn't get too excited about those rumored 10 clubs shows.

You're pushing the boat now Mr mickijag ... BV's a highly principled chap you know. I doubt he'll comment on that. I met him outside the Beacon in NY last year and in perfect innocence asked him whether he had a ticket for either of the two shows. Some 4-5 months later I'm still trying to actually understand his reply, which was something along the lines of "I never answer questions like that; that would be like me asking you whether you still beat your wife" ?
Can't say I understood the connection THEN, and I'm still trying to work it out NOW ? I mean to say, I'm all for principles n' all that, but likening being asked whether one was in possession of a Beacon Theatre ticket to being asked whether one still beat one's wife ... er ... ??????????
But anyway, I hope he DOES comment. Maybe that's what this Legacy code business is all about, have we thought of that ? You might need one to have first grab at tix for club shows. So who's got one ? Not me. SHIT !
I'd really begged the Stones would play places where there is general admission. I remember Ronnie's last London concert, and I really could not stand sitting for longer rtahn 5 seconds. Concerts with seatings are not rock'n'roll! (Perhaps something like Rock'n sit)
If a club is envisonned for Paris, I would bet for the Olympia where they played a couple of times and have good souvenirs. Moreover, Olympia would be a fabulous advertisement for the Stade de France and Stade Gerland shows. Le Rex is almost unkwown compared to Olympia.

The thing with the club/theatre shows thats worth bearing in mind is this - its generally accepted that the Stones are going to tour from early June to late August, which is almost 3 months. However, relatively few rumours have emerged of actual cities and venues that theyre going to play, and what has been rumoured has generally been outdoor shows in June and July.
I personally find it very hard to believe that the Stones are going to be able to play stadiums for 3 months and fill them at such short notice, especially with the prices they charge, the fact that they toured last summer and the small matter of every other act having already beaten them to the punch by announcing a tour - so playing a few indoor shows to fill out the remaining dates makes more sense logistically, even if it does go against their normal obsession of making the most money they can get, by whatever means. Especially as there were several rumours of theatre shows for the various US legs and they all turned out to be fruitless (even the 3 theatre shows they played in New York werent 'regular' tour shows in that you couldnt get tickets on TM presales as you could on Licks)

I have been editing my peculiar posting, Gazza; feel a lil dizzy & didnt fully know what I actually wrote.. Here's the deal - I was under the impression the "pay-back-time" gigs were to be replaced with only club gigs.
