Hmm...was this at the United Center. The stage seems really high and really close to the audience? Was it much different than the height of when the Stones usually pass through?

it was in hoffman estates in the new 11,600 seat sears centre. and it was also one of the worst shows i've ever seen. roger had no voice what so ever and while zak starkey is a good drummer, he just does not mesh with pete. pete had some great moments but they were a sad shell of what they once were. all the bad blood thrown in the stones' direction should be laid at their feet. a far cry from their 1982 tour.

Ohhhh......at that Sears Center or something? Is it that one?

Funny...another thread was saying how GREAT the Who were that night....

GREAT pics! Thanks so much for sharing. Man I am jealous, I would love to see The Two on this tour! Great set list too! And a six song encore???! What did they do for the encore besides Naked Eye?

The shows by the Who that I attended were in 1995, on the Quadrophenia anniversary tour, and they were awesome. Roger's voice iscn't quite what it was, but I thought Zak Starkey was a HUGE improvement over Kenny Jones, who was boring on the 1982 tour.

Great! But godd ol' Rog should wear more flashy stuff than straight black trousers and black t-shirts. Black's cool, also on stage, but not that. Looks like the sheet metal worker he once was.

Duane in Houston-The setlist doesn't change at all with the exception of sometimes skipping Naked Eye as the 1st encore. The Tragically Hip opened for them in Chicago but I don't think they are for this whole leg of the tour, just a few shows.

Marbles:

How were the Hip received in Chicago?

Huge in Canada and a few border-cities, but never have gained much popularity elsewhere.

buffalo-fairly well as far as opening acts go. They are pretty popular in Chicago. Pete even made mention of them during the Who's set thanking them for opening a few shows on this tour.

Hey Rattler! Where are you driving/leaving from to go to the show? Have any extra room? I might need a ride as I don'tb really want to go by myself. I'm basically at I-35 and San Marcos.
