I am just saying the vocals are not like they did on Exile wher Mick and Keith are singing together. You can hear Mick and hear Keith to. Keith is hardly with Mick on Black and Blue, why have Billy Preston singing background anyway back then, that was Keith's corner... My opinion... I like mick's singing. I am not a
anti- Mick person if it wouldn't be for his contributions there would be no good Stones stuff. He and Keith are a great team.

Way to resort to the ad hominem! Wait - you probably don't know what that means - way to insult me personally, because we don't have identical music taste!

P.S. I love how at the end there, you actually admit that you love FTC and HOF, rendering your insults completely pointless.

Yea, it's a much better version, everything about it,
the singing, the guitar-solo, the mix...and the "how about that one? *sniff*" comment from Mick right afterwards.

Maybe Keef and Sir Mick had some rivalry going there - like "Far Away Eyes" where - according to Keef - they had great takes with Mick doing it "right" instead of the mockery accent. Personally, I think it would have made for a greater song as well......where Jagger doesn't "step outside of the song" ;-)

Both those songs are great. If you want a bad opening track, you should put on Majesties.

Mistakes and mistakes....maybe some bum-notes...BUT they are bursting with energy in Norfolk, it's an awsome show, much better than most of the June 72 shows.

Also available from the "new" Idol Mind, in even more awesome quality.
You wouldn't think it was possible to sound better than the Midnight Beat release, but it is.
