Van Halen On Hold

It's true. The Van Halen tour that was never officially announced is now officially postponed indefinitely, sources told Pollstar.

The rumored tour took on an air of reality after a trade magazine announced that original singer David Lee Roth was about to sign on the dotted line, and that was soon followed by a press release via Eddie Van Halen’s spokeswoman-slash-girlfriend.

Unfortunately, the worldwide frenzy of a VH reunion was too good to be true, at least for the present day.

However, there was a lot of paper getting inked and Pollstar understands that a tour announcement might not have been far off.

I get the impression that when it comes down to it, the members of the Van Halen family are blindingly stupid. Sorry to be so harsh, but that's the way it appears. I'm speaking specifically of Roth and the Van Halen brothers.

VH is gonna want to be the biggest show of the summer, and with all the Police hype it aint gonna be thier year to be THE event of the summer.

thier chances would have been better if it had been the OG 4. but without Mike Anthony it is still not a reunion.

Yeah, this was officially announced--my goodness, it made regular newspapers.

Okay, I have a friend of a friend of a friend who knows Eddie's cleaning womans hairdressers mailmans daughter. I trust this connection because she once got me 2 Lawn tickets for a Van Halen show for face price. She is IN THE CAMP!

She overheard an argument over the backstage rider and David hit the roof when he heard Wolfie is getting his own dressing room and a large bowl of PEZ Candy with the Cherry PEZ removed.

I am embarrassed to say how hard that made me laugh.

About 5 yrs ago I worked with a dude who was borderline obsessed with her--he used to say it was his dream for her to do a porno--we all used to laugh at him......

i think she's truly a lost soul and feel both sorry and concerned for her.
she didn't even get a little bit of a childhood...hope she stays in rehab for a bit and gets help.

I saw the Van Hagar reunion in Vegas and it was great. I saw Michael Anthony at a CHEAP gold course ($15 for nine in the day) before he was booted.

Oh no, she lost her childhood, boo hoo. Was that because she didn't have enough to eat, or a place to live, or was abused, or her parents died in a horrible accident? No? It was because she had to "endure" too much money and too much adulation too soon? Oh, poor baby, I feel sooooo sorry for her.
