"What Does It Take" by Junior Wells & the Allstars. The thread of what we are listening to doens't work anymore, but I LOVE this song so much I have to tell someone about it.
"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."
Sorry to talk Stones for a minute - I was listening to "Sister Morphine" from "No Security". This is a dynamite version. Always had taken it kind of for granted. But Keith is freaking me out! Because this is live and he is throwing in some lethal licks, Lethal. At 3:39 especially he does this trill kind of line. Don't know how else to describe it. I have heard him do such a line before in another song but can not recall where. It's weird that this happy little descending phrase works in this minor key gloomy setting. Keith is very good on this song.
"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."
Hearing my four new CDs I bought at a record fair right now. The ons I bought was: The 1995 Wild Horses single. Between The Buttons in the 1984 London edition. The two Coca Cola compilations from some time in the nineties.
